“Although the food does taste good.I am disappointed that it shows corn bread on google but all they give you is garlic bread. The one thing I want when I go to a barbecue place is cornbread.“

“I'm a fan of Bandana's for sure. They have the best baked potatoes out of any restaurant I've been to. And while I was a tad disappointed that my potato was way too soft the last time I visited, it still tasted amazing. So, overall, I would still say great food and the staff is nice as well.“

“Let me start by saying that Sugarfire is one of my favorite bbq restaurants. I have never had a bad meal at either the location on Olive or downtown. I love the variety of side dishes at all the locations. However, my experience at the Arnold location was not quite up to what I think of as the Sugarfire standard. My pulled pork, while flavorful, was dry and a bit overcooked. My side of turkey au gratin potatoes was good, but only slightly warm. I was also not a big fan of the deviled egg potato salad but that could just be personal taste. My wife did love the cole slaw. Overall the meal was just ok.

I like that they offer dessert and the pecan pie was stellar. I was disappointed that they were out of the Sugarfire pie which I've had before and think it is beyond wonderful! Oh, and they have pickles, onion, jalapeño and sliced bread out with the condiments. A definite plus.

In general I'd call the food a 3. The customer service and general pleasant staff bring my overall rating to a 4. This was far from Sugarfire at its best, but with a few touch ups by management it could be.“

“After seeing the review with Mr.Chimetime, I begged my husband to drive me almost 2 hours to this place, It was definitely a cool little spot. People were very friendly. But when it came to the food. Whew my feelings were hurt the brisket was flavorless and dry 😭 Nothing like what I saw in the review. Ribs were tender but i was not blown away by them, sides were the same as well. Maybe it was bad Timing but this was a big let down. Consistency is the key to a good restaurant. I will give them another chance, but I'm not in a rush to get there. I was wanting so much for this place to blow me away because I love food. And I was so excited to try them. 🥺“

“Ate at Cafe Smoke Shack recently. The food was fantastic. Service was excellent and our waiter was very attentive. Giant portions, well prepared & we were all extremely pleased with our meal. "Stan, Matt & Marlowe were charming and cordial to all. The owner (Matt/Chef) is one of the nicest and most hospitable folks you'll ever want to meet. Truly cares about his customers. Stay clear of Bill... Why you ask? He was a smug, rude & a disingenuous individual. Brought in six (6) people & spent over $300.00 with no other customers dining that day.
