“Although the food does taste good.I am disappointed that it shows corn bread on google but all they give you is garlic bread. The one thing I want when I go to a barbecue place is cornbread.“

“Let me start by saying that Sugarfire is one of my favorite bbq restaurants. I have never had a bad meal at either the location on Olive or downtown. I love the variety of side dishes at all the locations. However, my experience at the Arnold location was not quite up to what I think of as the Sugarfire standard. My pulled pork, while flavorful, was dry and a bit overcooked. My side of turkey au gratin potatoes was good, but only slightly warm. I was also not a big fan of the deviled egg potato salad but that could just be personal taste. My wife did love the cole slaw. Overall the meal was just ok.

I like that they offer dessert and the pecan pie was stellar. I was disappointed that they were out of the Sugarfire pie which I've had before and think it is beyond wonderful! Oh, and they have pickles, onion, jalapeño and sliced bread out with the condiments. A definite plus.

In general I'd call the food a 3. The customer service and general pleasant staff bring my overall rating to a 4. This was far from Sugarfire at its best, but with a few touch ups by management it could be.“

“Ate at Cafe Smoke Shack recently. The food was fantastic. Service was excellent and our waiter was very attentive. Giant portions, well prepared & we were all extremely pleased with our meal. "Stan, Matt & Marlowe were charming and cordial to all. The owner (Matt/Chef) is one of the nicest and most hospitable folks you'll ever want to meet. Truly cares about his customers. Stay clear of Bill... Why you ask? He was a smug, rude & a disingenuous individual. Brought in six (6) people & spent over $300.00 with no other customers dining that day. “TreauX is now coming out to the Legion in Fenton one Saturday a month. We attended the first Saturday and are hoping that it is the start of many more. My husband looked at me like I was crazy when I read off dates but the slight sweetness against all of that savory is what made it!! We also tried the Fatty B, Meat me in St Louie, Magic Carpet Ride, and the Gyro. They were all amazing but the Gonzo and the Gyro were my favorites.
