As many have noted, winery has excellent views of the area & there is an extended patio for viewing / relaxing. As far as tasting their wines, nothing in particular that was outstanding & tasting server had a few knowledge gaps.
I haven’t been to Montelle winery for approximately eight years. The view is still fabulous, however, I would advise getting more umbrellas, so we do not have to bask in the sun. Even though it was a nice cool day, I still felt the heat of the sun and did not want to sit there for any longer than an hour or so.

We ordered a bottle of wine and were surprised to learn that there was an additional charge for an ice bucket to keep the wine cool AND an additional charge for an actual wine glass (otherwise, you’re stuck with a plastic cup). Never seen that before at a winery.
The wine was decent and the pretzel/charcuterie board...
