Food ok...we went for dinner..Brussel Sprout & Butternut Squash sounded good but I'm pretty sure they used FROZEN sprouts! Tomato Soup was more like a bowl of tomato sauce..hubby liked his Pork Cutlet...dining partners liked their off the menu Salmon Fillets. Dinner menu small..I would think this place would have interesting creative dinner options. Maybe breakfast better? Cute place though. Waitstaff a bit overwhelmed.

My husband and I had passed by here many times on our way to the Katy but it was never open. Well my daughter and I stopped in after our ride to give it a try. It is located in an historic Augusta building along with an art gallery on one side. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of hashbrowns. Now it is probably just a matter of personal preference but there was way too much pepper in the gravy for me and the hashbrowns weren't very good..very thin and no taste. My daughter had a bunless cheeseburger which she said reminded her of Steak n' Shakes but she was a little disappointed with the brussel sprouts that looked and sounded delicious. The prices for lunch were pretty much in line with other restaurants in the area but looking over the dinner menu some of the options looked pretty pricey. We don't get out this way much so I don't know if I will try any of their other menu offerings.

Chef Michael Brewer has made a few changes to the menu. My absolute favorite is the brussel sprout and butternut squash hash! My friends and I shared dishes and loved the grill cheese, quiche, and turkey club. We look forward to more additions to the menu soon. Did I hear there may be lobster rolls in our future? Chef Micheal thank you for making White House Café a hidden treasure on our small town adventure today.

White House Cafe was recommended by other guest staying at Lindenhof BnB in Augusta and so glad we went. It was later in the evening when we arrived and there was a large group of folks there. Bailey our waiter/bartender seemed to be able to handle everything and was so pleasant. The Chef came out to check on everyone making sure we all taken care of. The cocktails and wine were good and the food was absolutely FANTASTIC. I had the salmon special with garlic mashed potatoes and a simply amazing brussel sprout butternut squash hash with bacon and onion. Even our brussel sprout haters liked it. Others in our group had the pork chop, steak and salads everything was amazing.Cannot recommend this place enough!

Vegetarian options: There are salads and appetizers for vegetarians. GF was easy but a vegan would struggle with options besides a salad.

Parking: Parking spots and street parking but we walked from our BNB.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp available.

Awww. The brussel sprouts are amazing. Burger was great, too! Added an egg. Augusta is such a cute town and The White House is quaint and on point.
