I have been wanting a good fruitcake for the past several years. This fruitcake was worth the wait! It is just phenomenal. Hands down the best fruitcake that I have ever enjoyed! If you like fruitcake, do yourself a favor and order this fruitcake. Excellent quality ingredients, moist, and flavorful.
I think these fruitcakes are great, and I'm really not a fan of fruitcake. My most recent purchase was purely for nostalgia. I remember when we first moved to Tampa and found this cake at the William-Sonoma store. They used to sell these cakes made at the monastery in the actual store but always at a high price. Not a fruitcake fan before. They always seemed too sweet. This one changed my mind! And I love that I am supporting a good cause! Someone actually working to support themselves....
