Excellent customer service! I arrived close to closing time but the staff made sure I had a great experience. They had run out of Kabuli Pulao, but they prepared a fresh batch for me and even allowed me to take it to go. Everyone was welcoming, patient, and genuinely cared about customer satisfaction. The food was good and I truly appreciate their kindness !⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food was on point! enjoyed the BBQ plate. Spices and taste were great. Angel was very pleasant and made my visit feel special. So glad i like to try different foods from different cultures. Now, i have another great place to eat!

Me and my daughter are sitting St Louis MO I have already come here at Lal Qila a few times. Nice place, good food. The best part is exceptional customer service by Angie who was very courteous and nice.

I recently visited this restaurant for the lunch buffet, I was not commenting about the food but I am writing this review about their service “it’s worst”, they are treating differently particularly their waitress. I just don’t want to specifically mention the races here and they didn’t even offer the water while they treated others with smiles… and drinks… and stuff. Their price just hit different who pays $22 per person for the buffet with limited items. I am definitely..!! not going back there.

Lala Qila is a one-of-a-kind Afghan and Mediterranean restaurant in Ballwin, St. Louis. The place is clean, well-organized, and has a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. The staff are kind, respectful, and very hospitable. The food is fresh, flavorful, and high quality you can truly taste the freshness in every bite, from perfectly seasoned meats to well cooked rice and rich, authentic flavors. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a great experience.

Dont let you order of menu. Force you to only get buffet. Went few weeks ago and was able to order off menu. Must be new owners. Will not be going here again.

I’ve visited this restaurant several times, and while it was generally acceptable before, my most recent experience was quite disappointing. The main issue was the food quality, it did not seem fresh at all, which was a big letdown, especially for a buffet.

Even though we paid for the buffet, many of the dishes were not being refilled, leaving very limited options. This made the experience feel unfair and poorly managed.

On top of that, one of the staff members was not friendly or respectful, which added to the negative impression. Good service can make a big difference, but unfortunately that was missing during this visit.

Overall, based on my last experience, I don’t feel confident returning or recommending this place.

This is such a beautiful place to eat at. The staff here are so helpful and on top of everything. The food is delicious! I am new to this type of food and so happy to have had the chance on my travels to eat here! It's very family friendly and a must try if you are in the area!

Oh my gosh the food is so amazing. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The lemon mint is AMAZING!

Tasteless food. Had no flavor nothing. Ordered kabli with chapli had no taste at all… waste of my money. Don’t eat the food left it as is… “This is a black stain on Pakistani food”.

Came here for an early dinner, and everything we got was excellent. My only complaint was that service was very slow, even though there was only one other group aside from us seated at the time.

I would definitely recommend this place, but don’t come if you’re on a tight schedule.

Had the weekend dinner buffet on Saturday. The flavors were great, but the Mandi and Pulao were unfortunately just rice with no meat to be found. The naan was also quite hard and difficult to eat.

The food is excellent but the service is Horrendous. I paid for an orange drink, the server handed it to me and didn’t open the sealed cap (which requires a bottle opener), I asked her can you please open it, she said please be seated I will be right there she forgot about it. I asked for a refund she handed me $5 while I was waiting for my pick up order, she said the drink is for $4 but you can keep the change. I found the whole attitude of the server too casual and disrespectful.

But the food is always great
