Good afternoon Hoods, Mo! My husband and I are truck drivers out of Amarillo, Tx! Never been to Hoods Restaurant but we will be back! The staff was top notch! Our waitress Melissa was one the best yet! Great eye contact and very sweet! Melissa hasn't been at Hoods but bout a month! Keep her & Keep her happy! The world 🌎 needs more people like her! Thank you Melissa you are rare and a blessing! 8-30-2025 A little warm but over all is dynamite service!
Been stopping here for decades! Great food always, however I just was served mashed potatoes that were canary yellow! Asked what was in them because they tasted bad and waitress said chicken broth among other seasoning. Wth! Who puts chicken broth in mashed potatoes? Stop. It.
Eating as I comment. I order chicken fried stack mash wit gravy am Mac an cheese... LOWD.. There food is great, real down home food. Was cook fast, people or very friendly. Even has a nice game room with a pool table and games for kids. Me, my self I give 5 stars. A must go if in area
