First time visit to Smith's. I enjoyed one of their tenderloin sandwiches. Thank God I ordered only the smaller "half portion" because it was huge! One of the best homemade tenderloins I have had in a long time. It's easy to see why this restaurant is popular with tourists who are passing through Bolivar. Smith's is a great place to eat.
Coworker told me about this place and finally decided to give it a try. I wasn't planning on ordering the open face tenderloin, but it was highly recommended by many and so I ordered it at 10:15 a.m.(!) Didn't realize what I was getting myself into. The portion or serving size was HUGE! At first I was worried, thinking I wasn't going to finish it... I ate it all. I rate this and the cole slaw as my top 3 best tasting. We stopped on Easter morning thinking the buffet would be fast. My husband got the buffet but the other 3 of us ordered from the menu which was also pretty fast. The food was decent. We were in and out in about 45-50 minutes which was our goal since we needed to get somewhere by a deadline. The waitress was good.Parking: We arrived before Sunday church got out so there was plenty of parking.
