Years ago (about 98-99) my father took me to silver dollar city. We walked through the park and I enjoyed the smells and sounds of everything. Then we walked by a magical stall with huge skillets with fire blazing underneath and mounds of the most mouth watering food I have ever seen. The smell alone was enough to make my stomach rumble. My favorite place to eat at Silver Dollar City. I like to get the sausage skillet plate and the kettle chips! Back behind the building is a beautiful waterfall. Perfect break place to enjoy a meal and cool off in the shade.

Tale of two meals. My wife got the pulled pork sandwich that was full of pork. I got the beef stew and one good chunk and little bits of meat. It tasted good enough but definitely did not get my money’s worth. They do provide a nice tent that’s got heaters in it to make it a pleasant stop to eat.
