“Wow! First off, this was my first actual experience of Bosnian cuisine. Many of our office rank Taste of Bosnia as the BEST in the area and they definitely set the bar!As a group, we ordered the Sarme (cabbage rolls), Mjesano Meso (meat platter), Buffalo Chicken, Kupus salata (cabbage salad) & Jahnija (stew).Everyone devoured their food. I had the cabbage rolls, and they are delectable! Filled with a finely minced meat, saurkraut then covered in a sauce, I was blown away by the balance of flavors. The thick & moist scoop of mashed potatoes was perfect to mix with the meal.All meals came with thick, fresh bread which was a nice treat & sour cream to spread on it.The restaurant was sparking clean with a warm, welcoming interior. I was surprised to find out the restaurant isn't brand new, as every single space is immaculate and well decorated.The service was excellent as well. I'm taking my family for sure.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is in an open strip mall. However, there is a vestibule which is nice, but sometimes difficult to navigate in a chair. “I had to order 75 lunches for an all-day conference and decided to go with Best Box Lunches. I had eaten one of their box lunches in the past, and it really was the best. I ordered a week out and sent my order via email. Within an hour or so, I received a confirmation. It was scheduled. As Friday approached, I reached out to make sure we were still on. Almost immediately, I received confirmation that we were good.Friday arrived along with a family crisis. It was hard for me to stay focused. Right before the first break at 10 something, I was freaking out that lunch hadn't arrived. That I had set it up at the wrong time. So I immediately emailed Best Box Lunches and asked if they could bring the lunches sooner. Keep in mind that I had ordered 75 lunches, so I was really asking a lot. I immediately received a response stating that they would try. That's all I needed to hear. We weren't creating a cure for cancer. If the lunch was late, it would be fine. My family crisis got more intense, but I wasn't freaking out about lunch now. It's amazing what a simple, QUICK email reply can do for a person. When the lunches arrived, they were perfect. They looked like you hadn't been rushed and that you had all day to make them. The bottom line is that I TOTALLY recommend them and will continue to use Best Box Lunches whenever I can. “What a great local deli and shop.I didn't realize that this was just right around the corner from me and I'm disappointed that I've been missing out on it for the last 10 months that I've been here.I got the tri-tip sandwich which was delicious!It does not appear that they offer any gluten-free bread option. So if you are a gluten-free gal/pal this may not be your place.There is a small lot to park in, but if it gets busy you might have to park on one of the streets next to it.I will definitely be back!“

“Went to a wedding tasting for my nephew. It's an old church converted to event space and a restaurant. We had a table set up for us in the middle of the redesigned cafeteria. It was a beautiful table set with a very eclectic mix of dinnerware. Really cute. The tasting consisted of two appetizers, two salads, two entrees and two sides. Everything that we tasted was delicious. goat cheese and duxelles on toast, shrimp cocktail, chicken piccata, beef tenderloin, pasta with green peas and dill, green beans, mashed potatoes and wine. The chef who prepared the food brought it out and explained it all to us. Very impressive. The menu has a large variety of choices. If you are planning a wedding, the space includes a chapel, bride and groom dressing areas and a lounge upstairs. It is a very cool space. The people were super nice and explained everything to us. What a nice evening. Nestled in the cute Holly Hills neighborhood. I highly recommend!“

“The food from this establishment is Amazing.I ordered the pulled chicken, 1/2 slab of ribs. The sides that I ordered were the Macaroni and Baked Beans. Those baked beans are some of the BEST baked beans that I’ve ever had. My mouth is watering thinking about them.The rib was superb and falling off of the bone. We hosted a Celebration of Life for my Mom here recently, and I cannot say enough good things about how Steve (the owner/manager) and his wife managed our event seamlessly, and went above and beyond to be sure that, at a very difficult time for our family, we had everything covered. “Apple Spice is the best breakfast and lunch caterer in St. Louis. They have the best in class focus on customer service. Our orders are always accurate and on-time (if not early). If there has ever been a question about our order, they call us and are courteous in their communication. We always get a follow up from them inquiring about how the order went. The food is the highest quality and always delicious. If you haven't tried Apple Spice yet, you are missing out.“

“My daughter took me there for brunch. As a very picky eater, the food was surprisingly delicious. Not too salty or over seasoned. We had a great server and the variety of foods offered was very nice. Our reservations were for 11am but had to wait half hour for the food to be ready. All we had was water and those delicious Mimosas on an empty stomach. Bread on the table would have been nice. We did not know how things worked and had to ask server and other guests what to do other than sit there. Timeliness was an issue for me. That aside, I certainly plan to return as the food was delicious and very nice atmosphere.“

“We've driven past here countless times and today had the opportunity to have lunch. It's a store front in a small strip, clean and nicely decorated inside, with 3-4 umbrella tables outside. The counter staff were very kind and offered recommendations. I had the chicken spedini with salad. I didn't realize it also came with a generous bowl of spaghetti and red sauce. I'm Italian and most Italians will tell you, "We never eat sauce out (meaning tomato sauce), so I took it home for the kiddo. My husband selected the chicken parmigiana which also included pasta and we both had salad. Our entrees and the broccoli that accompanied them were delicious. The quantity of food was too much for me, but the hubby loved it as he was ravenous by the time we stopped. The salads were tasty, though the cheese we added came in fairly large sticks - not bad, just oddly proportioned. Everything tasted good, but we were a bit shocked by the prices. While the counter staff were very nice, she didn't indicate how much of an up charge there was for a small side salad. We'd expected close to $20/each and ended up with a bill of almost $60. We won't pay that much for lunch again anytime soon, though we would consider them for catering because the food was very tasty and the catering prices weren't terrible, thus the 4-stars. It would be 5-stars except for the unexpected pricing.“
