“Excellent restaurant, seats close to 30 inside. Very clean and pleasant. Artwork on the walls was fun and very nice. Owner very attentive and solicited our input on the food. The food, we thought was the best on offer in Houston, MO! Houston Mo is not a culinary hot spot, however this was special for the area we thought. We ate two sandwiches, cheeseburger and pulled pork. Both were very good and well prepared to our taste. The Cole slaw needed more vinegar we thought. Seasoned fries were delivered somewhat less than fully hot but were pretty good none the less. The coffee was good also. Owner said it was “just a popular brand “ but it was smooth and hot. Points off for powdered creamer , but the cup was kept full. Flavored coffee is also sometimes available. Check the large whiteboard for daily specials.”

“The restaurant was more than a little outdated but you can't beat the service! Everyone was super nice. The panda special or whatever it's called is 13.99... two rangoons, an eggroll, a drink, and one entree. Can't beat that! I have enough food for at least 3 days LOL I got the combo lo mein (shrimp, beef, and chicken) with mine which is incredibly good. My hubs got the orange chicken which was drenched in a pretty yummy sauce. The rangoon and egg rolls were hot and fresh and yummy as well. I wasn't expecting much when I pulled up but I was pleasantly surprised. Would definitely go back!”

“We stopped in from Brighton after hauling a cow down and stopped pretty late we had a gooseneck trailer on that was too tall for there clearance and they just welcomed us to the window and was just super nice I didn’t catch the ladies name at the window but thank you so much!!!! “Much better food and service than McD’s . Fries were crispier, fresh, hot and a larger portion. Hamburger meat tasted better too. Condiments are readily accessible without having to ask for them, especially if you are ordering carry out. At McD’s I never seemed to get the number of ketchup packets I asked for, or sometimes none at all. Houston Hardee’s is my new hamburger/fast food restaurant.”
