El Centenario Reviews
We invited two of our friends to boat over to the new Pier 31 Marina location and were thrilled with the experience. It was easy to dock our boat in the nearby slips. We were greeted with an extensive and enthusiastic staff, including Lily. The menu is the same as we’ve seen at the Greenview location so we all ordered house margaritas, which are always fantastic. Two of us ordered the ground beef taco salad and thought it was delicious. Another ordered the burrito house specialty...read full review
Service was very quick and the food was spectacular! Visiting for a concert and glad we didn't choose another place!
For starters our waitress was eating and drinking a margarita while she served us. She was at a table in the restaurant just like a customer. She continued to do so the entire time.
She made the comment, “everyone would be happier if they drank at work” and another male employee said, “that’s what white people would say”.
Food was WAY over priced for what we received.
We’ll stick with El Cabrito for now. This review is for the Waynesville location.

El Centenario offers fantastic service with an attentive waiter who ensures drinks are always full and provides quick, efficient service. The amazing food at this Americanized Mexican restaurant includes a great deal on vegetarian options. The spectacular vegetarian dishes are among the best deals. The staff is professional, creating a family-friendly environment, although there might be a wait for food. The establishment is a quiet, satisfying place with filling appetizers and generous margaritas. Plenty of parking space and wheelchair accessibility with a ramp for easy entry.
Customers praise the good food for a reasonable price, enjoying the sampler platter appetizer and fajitas. The margaritas are also highly regarded. The new Pier 31 Marina location is praised for its easy boat docking, extensive and enthusiastic staff, and the same delicious menu as the Greenview location. Customers recommend the ground beef taco salad, burrito house specialty, and chimichanga, all of which are fantastic. The chips and salsa are top-notch, and the fajita quesadilla is massive, enough to feed two. The restaurant offers authentic-style Mexican food, including shrimp tacos, shrimp enchiladas, and Chile rellenos. The service is good, and the prices are very reasonable.
