Holy cow WOW!!!! So, I had the Bison Burger. I was a little apprehensive about it. It was priced at $17. Let me tell you....worth it!!!! It had an egg, bacon, Swiss cheese, and fig jam. Yes, a little different, but so stinking good!!! My husband had the chicken fried steak. It was huge! It filled him up that's for sure. Did I mention their mashed potatoes are real....and really good. This "Little" diner is so good you need to try it. I know these locals will be back. Oh...and great service too. Super sweet people.
Any dish we’ve had there has been too both, excellent, and flavorful. I will rarely leave raving reviews for food because I’m not a picky eater and I’m not one to ever complain about food. But when the food is this delicious, one has to leave a review. We have been here a few times and never been disappointed. Immaculate bathrooms (I have only visited the women’s), floor is always clean, unlike so many other restaurants, where you have a residue back by the kitchen. All good!
Some of the best chicken I've had! The sauce was a bit runny, but the chicken made up for that. Next time, I'm either getting the chicken sandwich or chicken fried chicken. My wife had the shrimp and said it was the best. Our waitress was outstanding and very helpful in explaining menu items. My side salad was fresh and made perfectly. The prices were very fair as well. I highly recommend it!
We have eaten here multiple times and every time it is just as delightful. We visited their new location for the first time and really enjoyed it. It is much larger, airier, and has a dedicated bar area. We generally eat dinner here and usually order the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. The pie is also excellent. Service is always good and everyone is very efficient. We highly recommend a visit.
What a nice addition to the area. The menu is different than many bar/restaurants in the area, which is great!!At our table we enjoyed Reuben sandwiches with seasoned fries, spinach cheese dip, and a combo salad. The spinach dip was made with fresh flash fried spinach, served with pita bread, and it was delicious!!! The strawberry spinach salad is like few you will find in this area, definitely a full meal. The Reuben was hands down the best I've had in many years. The fries are served with a salt n pepper blend that was just right. The spinach dip was made with fresh flash fried spinach, served with pita bread, and it was deliciousness!!! Portions were large, service was good and friendly, and prices fair. This is definitely a new regular place!
Went here for a nice dinner on Saturday night. The service was amazing and our server was very attentive. The whole place was pretty packed and not one time did we have to wait too long for anything. They had live music going, which really added to the cozy atmosphere. If you haven’t tried this place, you definitely need to.
Our employees wanted something different for our Christmas Party so my search started and ended with Just A Little Diner! Mark and Stephen were a 10 in communications throughout the planning, then the day came. The table was absolutely stunning, the appetizers were delicious with a well thought out presentation. The entrees were not just pretty, everything was delicious, cooked perfectly and very satisfying. During the whole evening our party wanted for nothing! The delightful, always smiling, staff was as spot on as everything else from start to finish! We can't thank you enough for such a beautiful party served! Merry Christmas ? We will see you again soon!!!
Mark, Steven and Staff at Just A Little Diner made our Christmas Party a night to remember! The appetizers were amazing! I suggest the Spinach Dip and Wings. Sarah, our waitress was professional, accomodating and fun. Mark (one of the owners) checked in with us occasionally to insure that everything was perfect and up to JALD standards. We had Faye May Creative Arts LLC teach our Christmas painting party and I can't express how delightful and patient she was teaching us. Faye's husband Bearl added humor and assistance to the venue. Great food, excellent customer service and painting made this the best Christmas Party ever! Thank you so much!
Just finished Thanksgiving Buffet. Fabulous! You know how some buffets can be mundane? Not this one! Want turkey? Deep fried or baked? Roast beef, ham, bang bang shrimp. They had it all. Perfectly seasoned, generous servings. Real mashed potatoes and wide selection of desserts. Wonderful service, fair prices. You have a winner here! Thanks for the wonderful meal Mark!
Parking: Nice sized parking lot.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps!
Just removed my mixed review of a few weeks ago. So pleased after lunch yesterday! I knew you could do it! It will now be my go-to place.

This was my first visit. Great wait staff, decent prices with nice sized portions. The Bang Bang Shrimp was SO good!!! Awesome place!
My husband and I had dinner tonight. The food was great. This is our third time. So glad to find great American food in Camdenton. He thought the chicken fried steak was great and really liked the patty melt.
Just discovered this place and will definitely make this a regular stop. Food was great, very fresh and flavorful. Loved the chili and strawberry spinach salad, but the grilled shrimp was the best. People were friendly and provided good services.
My wife and I have eaten here three times. Each meal (lunch and dinner) was excellent. From BLTs to a full meal this is the place to go. Very reasonable pricing and fantastic choices for dessert. The staff is always kind and friendly. Please try this place when in Camdenton. It’s nice to have a local diner right on the square.
Scrumptious food. Beyond the best service. Mark was a joy , knows the menu inside and out. Makes great suggestions. Do not leave without trying the blueberry pie, to die for.Sorry for no photos it was gone before I knew it.
