What a fun casual place to meet with friends for lunch or dinner. Everyone loved the food and the ambiance. . The owner couldn’t have been more accommodating in setting up tables for 12 of us and just helping out with anything we needed. We sat outside in the shade of the front porch. I’m the worst at writing reviews! I’ve been meaning to do so many times! Besides my tardiness on giving a review on The Tavern Smokehouse, it’s an exceptional great place for bbq! We ate at the smokehouse this evening for the first time. We’ll definitely go back. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Both of us ordered the smokehouse plate that allowed us to sample all of the meats and two sides each. Everything tasted great. The sides (cheesy corn, cornbread, baked beans, and potato salad) were just as good as the meats. Plus, we had leftovers for the next day. We highly recommend this restaurant.
