The Highlander Public House offers great food and great people, making it a must-try spot. Known for its delicious brunch, the Snickers French Toast and the stuffed French toast are standout items. The BLT is highly recommended, and the Fish and Chips has been praised as one of the best around, featuring large tender pieces that are batter-fried and crispy. The fries are awesome, too! Smithwicks and Guinness are on tap. The atmosphere is great, and the servers are friendly. The Highlander Public House is a lively Irish pub with tons of personality. The bar is a great size, and there’s even a modern jukebox set into a whiskey barrel end. The whole staff seemed to genuinely enjoy being there. The fries topped with mushroom gravy and green onions are so good. The crispy Brussels sprouts appetizer is a must-try. The burgers are huge—a full half pound of locally sourced beef—and perfectly cooked. The bacon & bleu burger featured a finely chopped bacon and blue cheese blend. The mac & cheese burger was also exceptional. The HPH Burger did not disappoint. And the Highlander Pie? Mouthwatering, enormous, and served sizzling in a cast iron skillet. The bread pudding is great. The Bloody Mary Bar is full of everything you need to make your drink as fancy as you'd like. The chicken and waffles was large enough to serve a small army. Service was prompt and atmosphere was enjoyable.
