“WOW! FROM The we walked in our server Chyenne made us feel welcome and like we had known her forever. We ordered 2 appetizers, both of us ordered ribeye dinners (cooked very differently). The appetizers and side salads came out super quick. The salads were HUGE! The mozzarella sticks were yummy and the pretzel bites with beer cheese was AMAZING! AND THOSE RIBEYES!!!! So delicious and cooked to perfection. I ordered medium rare and my son medium well and when they came out, at the same time both were hot and perfect.
My son paved a specialty to go order after we finished eating for his girlfriend to take to her at work. Again Cheyenne was amazing and was patiently get together all the aspects of the order. One of the cooks / Chef came out and checked on US during the mail to make sure we were satisfied with the way everything was prepared. And again after we were done we were never without drink refills. Everything was completely top notch. No this is not a five star Michelin restaurant it is an American Legion. But in the middle of small town USA it is amazing.”

It wouldn't be fair for me to say this place is terrible because I've eaten and reviewed restaurants all over the world;from Japan and Vietnam to the Middle East. With that perspective in mind, this restaurant is actually pretty good for a small town spot.

The first thing I noticed was how clean the place is. Seriously, it's extremely clean. You can tell they take pride in their restaurant and their food. My stomach felt perfectly fine after eating here, which is always a good sign.

The menu isn't huge, but there is enough variety to find something you'll enjoy. The food tastes good for the price, and honestly, you can't beat the value. If you live in the area, this is definitely a solid option.

My favorite dish was the stuffed mushrooms with cheese. They were absolutely delicious and easily the best thing I tried. I would come back just for those.

The restaurant is also more of a self-service setup, so tipping isn't really expected. Even so, I left a $2 tip because that's just the kind of person I am.

Overall, this is a good place to eat. I'm not going to give it five stars because that wouldn't be honest. I've had some of the best food in the world, so my standards are naturally high. But for a small town restaurant, this place does a good job. It's clean, the food is decent, the prices are fair, and the staff clearly care about what they're doing.

“Okay. I'm not going to make this an elaborate post about how great the food was or how impressed I was by the decor because none of that is true.
What I will tell you is that we went to Malden to stop by Wal-Mart and then get a hamburger. My husband chose Hardee's. He wanted to go in and sit down to eat, so we did.
My first impression was wow this place hasn't changed a bit in 20 years. We were greeted by a friendly cashier who took our order and told us to have a seat, and he'd have it right out.
As I'm sitting there waiting, I realize they're playing Christian music across the speakers. I'm in awe!
He brought our meal right out, and though it wasn't the best burger I've ever eaten, it was the most pleasant meal I've had out in a while!! And yes, their shakes are still the best, in my opinion. Just give me a simple strawberry shake any day while I listen to the music and enjoy a burger.”

“Disappointed that KFC changed the menu, no more one piece meals . You have to buy each item separately.Also a two piece meal no longer comes with 2 sides, so to get potatoes and slaw, you have to buy the second.”
