“Good food nice people and the restaurant is very nice“

“So my family has always been a fan of Golden Corral. But over the past year or two, the one in Cape Girardeau had really gone down in quality of the food. Then we heard they had a new manager and we checked the recent reviews were very good so we decided to give them a try again. Everything was great!! All the food was fresh or being refreshed when we arrived and through out the time we were there. The steak was fantastic, lots of char and juicy goodness just the way I like it. The fried seafood offerings were crispy without being rubbery under the breading. The veggies and salad were fresh and the crab salad was great. New manager thank you so much for putting Golden Corral back on our list. We can’t wait to take our granddaughters in tonight because this was always their favorite place and we haven’t been in their in over a year because the food and services was so bad. And the service was great too. Our server made sure our drinks were refilled and the pile of plates removed. So thank you — thank you so much for improving your game Golden Corral.
Also I noticed that you have taken steps to refresh the look of the place with floral arrangements and such and it is very pleasing to see this attention taken. I’m sure the restuarant could do with a big refresh but in these costly times, I appreciate a good meal with delicious food more than a remodel. So many new places in Cape are heavily relying on their new facility and have terrible food. So Golden Corral— you are our new old favorite and we hope to visit you many times in the future!!“
