Food made from organic ingredients and could taste the difference. Not your traditional Indian restaurant though. We tried gongura chicken dosa and butter chicken with rice, both were fantastic. Cute spot with different cuisine options.

Finally Indian cuisine returns to southeast Missouri! And with local ingredients no less! Had very high expectations for this place and they did not disappoint! Cannot wait to go back
The chef at Gongura has truly mastered the art of balancing spices. One standout dish was the Gongura chutney, made with the native leafy green from the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The chutney served at Gongura was nothing short of amazing. The chef expertly captured the essence of Gongura, transporting me to a moment akin to the famous scene in Ratatouille, where Anton Ego takes a bite and is instantly transported back in time. What made the entire dining experience even more remarkable was the fact that I was savoring authentic South Indian cuisine in a small Missouri town, prepared by an American chef. The chef's dedication and skill in recreating these flavors so authentically deserve applause.

Ordered the Chicken Biriyani yesterday and it didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend tryout the dishes! Grateful for a local restaurant for trying out new things.
