“We love Texas Roadhouse and the food is usually delicious- they always cook steaks right when ordered. The only downfall is I believe everyone in the southeast Missouri area has received a menu and the wait is always crazy! Thats’s why I didn’t give them a full 5 stars. Yes, they have the ‘call ahead and wait’ option, but I feel another process could be out in place such as making reservation times etc. Again, still a great place to dine in Cape Girardeau“
“I have always liked Logan Steakhouse for years. It is my favorite when I am in Cape Girardeau.It was different this time. I was met with a smile and seated quickly. The server was there before I sat down in the booth. She was as polite and friendly as the greeter.I ordered the 8 Oz. Steak and sides of broccoli and a baked potato. I was told they were out of potatoes. I asked for a baked sweet potato and they were out of them too. I finally got mashed potatoes.When the food arrived, I asked for salt for the steak. The server said they were out of that too.The final straw was the fact the steak was tough.I will try Logans again because this is the first time I have had problems. If it happens again, I won't be back.“
“After a long few days of traveling, it was nice to sit down to a great home cooked meal. We ordered pulled pork chicken and chicken and dumplings with okra, cole slaw and a stuffed backed potato. It was al very good. The service was superb. We found it to be a charming and family friendly environment. A must stop if you're in the area.“
“This last visit wasn't my first, and the food has been amazing every time, but this trip unveiled a bit of a flaw that is something to note. We were having a small family gathering of 6 people, and unfortunately there was only one place that would sit that many, and it was taken, so we had to wait about an hour and a half to get a table. I still highly recommend this as a place to eat, but if you have a large group it would be a good idea to plan accordingly for the high likelihood of a long wait.“
