This is one of our favorite lunch spots in Cape Girardeau. We typically order hams or turkey for holiday gatherings , but the café is often overlooked in this community. We often get sliders and sides but today I tried the new Turkey Pot Pie. It looks just like the picture and was excellent! It is also owned by a wonderful family in our community.
The turkey bacon ranch on a homemade croissant was awesome sandwich ....lots of turkey and bacon ? ?The chicken salad sandwich on a croissant was an great idea too......loved the broccoli salad.Everything I've ever eaten there has been delicious.Only complaint is why aren't they serving breakfast? ??
A coworker brought a carrot cake from HBH to work and this is something I would never eat. This is the best freaking cake. It taste like a Cinnabon Cinnamon roll. I now purchase this cake for every holiday. Also their ham is so worth it. I purchased a HBH for Christmas and the flavor is better than one purchased at the store. We had so much turkey leftover because the ham was favorite dish.
