Our go-to date night spot...the ambiance can't be beat and I love the views from the rooftop! There drinks are my favorite in town, and you can't skip the truffle fries, buffalo cauliflower, mollie's mushrooms & blackened shrimp!

Top of the Marq is such a cool experience. One of my favorite things about this place is the small plates concept — I love being able to try several different things in one meal instead of committing to just one entrée.

The restaurant is inside a really neat old building, and you take an elevator up several floors, which makes it feel even more special when you arrive. The main dining room is beautiful, classy, and pretty dressy, though we chose to sit outside on the patio instead.

It was a gorgeous evening, and the patio atmosphere was absolutely perfect. Overlooking the city while enjoying a glass of wine, good weather, and a variety of small plates made for such a relaxing and memorable night.

The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was amazing, and overall it was just a really enjoyable experience. I would absolutely recommend it 100%.

Yes it's expensive but you certainly get what you pay for! The did was fantastic all the way down to the syrups used in the cocktails.

overpriced food. drinks were poorly made . had a short conversation with the manager “mac” and was confronted with attitude while i tried to tell her i wasn’t satisfied with my visit. will not be coming back .

The food was so so good! I had the pork tenderloin and my GOODNESS! So so good!! Our waitress was sweet, informative, and witty! A little slow on the drink turn around but I didn’t even care because everything else was perfect! 🫶🏻 10/10 RECOMMEND

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants.And I travel all across the midwest and eat at many, many places. The buffalo cauliflower is one of my favorites but I can't recall ever having one bad meal, I'll hear. This is not just worth the stop if you happen to be in Cape Gerard, it is worth the stop if you're anywhere, even close to it.

Absolutely love this place! My husband and I went for Valentine's Day. I had the stuffed pork tenderloin and he had the steak medallions, both were incredible. McKayla waited out table and was attentive but not too much. For dessert we chose the chocolate creme brulee' with coffee, very good also. We will be back!

One word- BEN. Ben the bartender is more than a slinger of drinks, more than filler of water cups, more than just a bartender. He is a revolutionary. He is a mixologist of the finest caliber. We were able to suggest flavors we enjoyed and Ben was able to concoct a drink that elevated our experience to something that made the evening unforgettable. Yes, you could go to any bar in town and order a drink. But if you go to Ben you will be served a crafted cocktail with skill, knowledge, and dare we say LOVE of his craft.

WAITING to be seated with inadequate seating was a big pain! If you are going to make small parties wait for a table, the polite thing to do would be to provide comfortable and adequate seating. The food was great and the service provided by our waitress, Kaylin, was fantastic. she was pleasant and quite frankly salvaged the evening for us. She needs to be promoted to a management position. She would improve your customer experience drastically.

A beautiful Riverview and comfortable food to enjoy an elegant night with premier service, Top of the Marq at the Marquette tower is a true and elegant example of American cuisine, the atmosphere is soft and warm and the food is even better. A strong and determined service will ensure good food with beautiful views for a fair and affordable price. Seasonal menus dominate the mix of seasons to offer comfort in any weather and an experience that will give you the history of downtown Cape Guirardeu.

My wife and I went here for a special meal and they did not disappoint. Excellent menu and food. I have a number of dishes I will go back to try out. Great view from the top of the building . They also have outside seating. Really nice! The service was very good. This was our second time here and we will go back again!

We parked on the street near the building. There area seems to be decent and well lit. It has an urban feel on the street.

There is one elevator that goes up to the restaurant at the top of the building. The others don't get you there, so make sure you get on the correct one. My wife loves the architecture of the building. I love the view.

We've enjoyed this restaurant in the past. This evening we ordered 2 tilapia dishes, a smashburger, and a filet medallions dish. We received the fish first. Five or so minutes later, we received the burger. Still 20 minutes later, the steak was not served and the server had not checked on us. We had to find someone to cancel the steak since everyone else was DONE with their meal. Very disappointing that this issue was not addressed by the manager.
