“Friday July 11th; I drove right past the Carthage food truck Friday and headed for the best bite in town! Friendly staff, great burgers all wrapped up in a small old school building. When I left I also had to stop 1 block North and give the little girl selling lemonade a couple bucks!”

“I was traveling from Ohio to Tulsa for the PWC with my horse and stayed at the Lucky J. Quick and easy to hook up my LQ trailer. Then had a bite to eat at the delicious steakhouse. Will definitely book with them during future trips!”

“We used to eat here a lot. The service was good and so was the food. The service has gotten worse and so has the food over time. I asked for extra crispy hashbrowns, had 2 eggs that were extra crispy instead and the hashbrowns were practically raw. The waitress never came back. When checking out I informed them that I had only at a biscuit and gravy from my plate and one bite of eggs and one bite of hashbrowns. I was advised there was nothing they could do. I basically paid $8.99 for one buscuit with gravy. We won't be back, we feel as though we gave lots of grace with giving it another chance.”

“If you have never been to El Quetzal you must go! They have a very large selection of fresh baked goods for an affordable price. We ordered a variety of combo dishes from the restaurant for takeout, including a tamale with rice and beans for only $5. 99. The store has a great selection of Mexican groceries of all types. El Quetzal is a perfect combination of everything you need for your culture.”

“Normally good coffee , I usually stop in on my way to visit my mom . Went thru today and got my usual , first drink I took was all coffee , none of the flavor I had asked for . I went ahead and drank it , got to the bottom of the cup and found all of the mocha there . Make sure your employees are properly trained in how to mix in the flavoring . Was my first disappointing drink there .”

“My son and I were on a road trip and had pulled off to grab a bite to eat. We were very happy to see a taco truck. We love food trucks and we were not disappointed by Taco 66. We had carne asada tacos and the carne asada big burrito. Super big flavors for both of these dishes. The prices are wonderful as well. For what fast food would cost, you can get more flavorful and much healthier options while supporting a local family owned and operated business.”

“Best oriental restaurant in Carthage, Missouri I love their food. I love their price and the people that worked there are just amazing. Whatever you do don’t go to the Asian bistro and Carthage my grandson took me there for my birthday today and I am literally so sick and I only took four bites of food so yeah, stay away from the bistro and stick with this restaurant”

“😁Big Ben's is our lunch stop on our way home or to the lake. Our favorite is the large sliced brisket sandwich. So juicy and flavorable! It is perfect for us to split as we head down the road! If you have time to go and sit down the resturant is very nice great rustic decor.”

“The pupusas were a 10/10. They tasted amazing and were identical to the authentic ones I ate in California. The lady running the restraunt was so sweet and genuine that it was great having a conversation with her after we finished eating! There's hardly any Salvadoran restraunts in the area so I'm glad there is one serving amazing food!”
