This has become my official birthday spot. We have come here the last two years and LOVE IT. The service is always fun and interactive. The hibachi is amazing, as well as the sushi. If you’re looking for a fun birthday dinner please come here, you won’t regret it.

Fun atmosphere at the hibachi dining area. Sushi dining area is a bit quieter. I ordered the red dragon roll and it was soooo yummy. The miso soup and spring rolls were tasty as well. The service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely dine again.

Oishi is the best Japanese sushi restaurant in St. Louis. I don’t go to any other place because the quality here is much better. They always serve the freshest sushi, and everything tastes high quality and carefully prepared.
Since sushi is a healthy choice, I often come here. Freshness is very important with sushi because it can easily cause food poisoning if it is not handled properly. I never worry about that at Oishi because they always maintain excellent freshness and quality.
Great place. Go eat there.
The food and service were outstanding! Our cook was so much fun!

Authentic Japanese restaurant, with good quality food and a seperate hibachi room. Friendly and helpful staff , quick service and plenty of parking.
Taste pretty okay, and the place itself was nice. The hibachi show was entertaining, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming.
But honestly, the price feels quite expensive for the portion size 😆😆
First time ever seeing a hibachi place with portions this small.
Overall still a decent experience, just wish the portion matched the price a bit better 👍🏻

Not sure what happened but everything we ordered was wrong and disgusting. Would not go here again. Brought the concerns to the manager and she was not helpful.

Had the most amazing dinner last night! The Oishi platter was such a hit, but the real star was the lobster roll—it’s officially my new favorite sushi. The chicken yaki soba was also so tasty; the noodles were cooked to perfection. The miso soup wasn't really my taste and the fried ice cream didn't quite live up to the mark, but the rest of the feast was 10/10!

Sushi (Mizzu Roll & YumYum Roll) came out great! Unaju was pretty saucy, but the appetizer was to be questioned. Not sure how Heinz ketchup goes with crab ragoon, but we tried it and got to say we are not a fan. Everything else we ate I'd recommend just wish they'd brought traditional red sauce out and not ketchup.

Only thing I wished they had was espresso martini. Filet & lobster were excellent. Great service

Very good food & fun experience at the hibachi table. Our chef did a great job & was very friendly & entertaining.
We had reservations, so we didn't have to wait hardly at all to be seated.
