the bacon cheese fries were amazing so was the burger. the shake was alright
Do not get the grilled cheese or it's more like burnt to a crisp cheese what the cheese fries that were good

Shake Shack receives mixed reviews. The food is described as very good, with excellent cheeseburger and fries, though some find the burgers very greasy and tasty but almost over the top greasy. The shake was ok as well. However, many feel it is overrated and 1000% not worth the money, with a $20 drive-thru smashburger and crinkle fries you can get at kroger. An Ala carte burger can run like $15 with no drink or fries. Service varies; one location is called the best in st.louis with staff that are very professional and courteous, while another had no greeting and a very laggy touch screen for ordering. The atmosphere is minimalist and not very memorial. The dining room could have been a bit cleaner at one visit. Overall, the food is better quality than McDonald's etc and the price reflects it, with a clean restaurant, self-serve kiosks, drive thru or eat in, plenty of parking and seating, clean restrooms, and a great location.
