We got on the waitlist for a 6-person table at 8:26, and they told us at most a 30-minute wait. Instead of abiding by their waitlist, they sat tons of tables in front of us and constantly ignored us. Finally, after a 45-minute wait, they split our group up and sat us across the restaurant from each other. Then ignored us at the table, making us miss out on much of the all-you-can-eat time. Food was alright but they overcharged us for the more expensive all you can eat. Overall, terrible service might be due to the stigma against teenagers.

I had sushi delivered to my office via Door dash and it was horrible. It was the worst sushi experience I have ever hade with Sushi Ai. I usually order from the St. Charles location, but some reason my order came from the Clayton location. Salty and flavorless.

Service was great. Sushi was fresh. The all you can eat is the best way to go. Good options and great food

AMAZING! Beginning to end. Nick was phenomenal with our group, it was 6 of us and one was a wheelchair. Super accommodating staff and was my first time. I will come back 10000X more even if I’m from Chicago. Thank you Nick for your hospitality and the food was all superb! We all did all we can eat special!

Ohhhhh this place is SO worth the experience. The sushi is delicious (and there are more options than anyone could handle lol), the atmosphere is lovely, and Nick really went out of his way to make sure my first time here was perfect. Highly recommended.

I am an avid Sushi AI goer. I’ve been to every location almost in St. Louis and even this one before it got renovated so I was excited to try. The waiter was new, and there were some mishaps which I’m not one to complain about that because he was sweet. What was crazy was that I found not one, but two hairs in my all you can eat dinner. The first one which was visible and off to the side away from the food which I did not mention. Then there was another hair underneath my yellow tail. I notified the server with the manager nearby and they did replace my one yellow tail, but did not offer anything else for accommodation. I did express I didn’t want to make a scene, but the situation was very looked over and didn’t seem like they cared at all. I love sushi Ai, but will no longer be visiting this location.

I’ve been coming to Sushi Ai since their old location and I’m really happy with the new spot. It’s about four stores down now and the space feels very modern and more upscale. I like that they went with an open design concept. It makes the place feel bigger and cleaner. They have new workers and everyone is super efficient. It still gets very busy, even during a weekday lunch, but if you come closer to 3 pm it definitely dies down. Overall, I’ve never had any complaints here and the quality has stayed consistent through the move. My only ask is please keep the price point the same. It’s one of the reasons I keep coming back.

Avoid! Maybe i just had bad sushi but i am violently throwing up from this food

Wanted to add to my review went back a year later found plastic in one of the rolls. The manager decides to tell me it happens, sometimes still had to pay for the full meal, even though it was un edible and made me sick.

Old location was a lot warmer. I believe it needs time to settle and that may take a few months..

I’ve been going here for years and love the new location, however, the service was pretty disappointing. We came for the AYCE at the bar seating. We received our first round of food at 6. Enjoyed each other’s company, food, and drinks. We get our bill at about 745 and pay cash. While waiting for our change, our server says the host told me that you guys have to leave because you’ve been here too long. He did admit he was new so he just was following the rule. Never brought us our change so finally had to ask him for it.. Not sure why you would kick 2 people out of bar seating while they are on their way out, just trying to pay. Anyways took his tip from $40 to $14 and won’t be going back.
