Absolutely “11 on a 10 point scale” — outstanding food, ambience and service. The guidance of server Leya with respect to cut and preparation of steaks was spot-on, the particular table and additional touches selected for our anniversary dinner were just perfect , and the level of attention of the entire team, from table set up to the manager, made us feel special and appreciated. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We had the pleasure of Jacob serving us last night, and were blown away at his fantastic service, his awesome personality, and his professionalism. He went above and beyond what I expected, even for a fine dining restaurants. It is very hard to find good service nowadays anywhere, but he has definitely given me hope that they’re still good servers out there! Have to mention the Server assistants were excellent as well, very diligent in what they did behind the scenes. Overall we came for the excellent food (which it was perfect) but will be back again because of the unmatched service. Can’t thank Jacob enough for the Amazing experience he provided us. We are already looking forward to the next time!

Anniversary dinner at the Capital Grill didn't disapoint. From the moment we arrived to a Happy Anniversary greeting, to the final dessert, everything was excellent. Service is always first rate and the specials offered were great. We had the bone-in filet and the Scallops specials. Both were excellent and cooked perfect. Sides of Lobster Mac and cheese and mushrooms rounded out the dinner well. The complementary dessert of cheese cake and flourless chocolate cake was a great topper and was appreciated. Thanks to the Capital Grill team for a memorable evening. Cheers!
Austin is one of the best servers I've ever had! The food was delicious, everyone else was very friendly and helpful. I am happy to have spent my Birthday another year at the Capital in Clayton. This location is also the best one I've ever had! 10/10

I guess I don’t get the hype. The food is good but at these prices it needs to be great. I’ve got good food at home. I don’t need to spend $27 on lobster Mac n cheese that’s just ok. The steak was a steak, the fish was fish. Nothing pulling me back to spend a week’s worth of groceries on one meal.

I love it here! Such a nice place. It’s a vibe and the atmosphere is amazing. Service is good and the drinks are great! I got scallops and couscous. The lobster Mac n cheese is delicious! I got a lemon drop for a drink and we told our server it was our anniversary and she brought us a cute dessert.

We visited Capital Grill for our 35th wedding anniversary. From the beginning of the night to the end it was an amazing experience. Our server, Corbin Boitnott, was outstanding. Professional, caring, knowledgeable and friendly. He made the experience that much more enjoyable. We talked about our mutual like of bourbon. The food was delicious! My Kona rubbed KC strip.......damn! Excellent job!

Came in to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. It was our first time dining there. Food, ambiance and service were absolutely superb!!! Mark McCoy took amazing care of us. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He even brought complimentary desserts since it was our first time. Can't wait to come back!!!

Steaks were wonderful, delicious and tender! Loved the spinach and mashed potato sides. The beat salad was just amazing! So flavorful and fresh. So much food, no room for dessert. High marks to Andrew M, our excellent server. He gave great recommendations and his attention to details was top notch. Can't wait to return!

Celebrated my retirement last night at Capital Grille. They had the table decorated, phenomenal food and off-the-chart service. Plus they added unexpected "retirement" desserts and champagne (surprise) for us. On the way out staff, who were not at our table, congratulated me on my retirement. Could not have exceeded our expectations more!
