The Capital Grill in Clayton was outstanding. The ladies at the front desk greeted us warmly and say us right away and wished us a happy anniversary. The young man that Brough out our waters and bread was friendly and also wished us a happy anniversary. Our waiter was dinner friendly and brought us champagne, and also wished us a happy anniversary. The manager came by to check on us during the meal and sent drinks out to us. We made a reservation for our anniversary and our server was Greg. He was amazing throughout the entire evening from having our special table prepped to wine knowledge/recommendations, and provided the perfect balance of service and experience. It’s no wonder he had so many stars on his jacket 😍. We enjoyed the filet, lobster mac, brussels, and burrata heirloom tomato salad, along with simply lovely desserts.. Thank you Greg and the kitchen staff for making our night!!
Great food. Pricey but worth it. Server was entertaining. Filet was great. Seafood was great. Even the mashed potatoes were great. Valet parking was $12 or you can park in the ramp. Take a parking ticket in and they'll put a sticker on the back that pays for it. Easy.
