“we went in about 20 minutes before closing this afternoon (didn't realize they closed at 2) staff was still welcoming and friendly. we both got the country fried steak dinner. I got the half size and still had plenty of leftovers for another meal. rolls were definitely home made and warm. we ordered the blackberry bread pudding with lemon sauce to go. warmed it up and it was so delicious! not to mention the owner was around and talked with us, even brought us a piece of German chocolate pie on the house! also so good! prices were great! Will definitely be back 5/5”

“My wife wanted something different, so we looked up this place. When we arrived, we weren’t sure if it was a dine in type place. It looked like a convenience store, but I encouraged her to go in. I’m glad she listened this time. lol. There’s a friendly guy as soon as you walk in that helped us with the menu. We sat ourselves and waited, and then the food arrived. We really enjoyed, and will be back to visit. In the meantime, we will encourage others to give them a try.”

“first test chips and salsa...salsa fresh and flavorful chips thin crispy fresh , guacomole good, spinach enchiladas delish including generous amount of fresh spinach bathed in white and mole sauce, black bean lover loved the black beans and refried beans also yum and finally a perfect syrup/soda mix pepsi cola....which was refilled by the very attentive staff if it dipped below the halfway point, I was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. Inconvenient to my location I will nonetheless be back. Its worth the drive.”

“Oh my goodness! First time here! Met a friend and had the sour cream coffee cake. It was THE BEST ever! Super moist and fresh! Great price as well! The chocolate layer cake was calling my name , as well as the giant lemon bars! Coming back to have some soup & salad for lunch! 😋”

“The waiter Spencer was very patient, friendly, and professional. Unknown to him we had just come back from a memorial service with my aunt who lost her son. We did come in at 9:15pm only 45 minutes before they closed ordered drinks and apps and you would have never known by his attitude they were about to close up. A welcome relief from the days stress. He was attentive and upbeat throughout the whole experience. Food was great and I would recommend to anyone.”

Honestly, our first couple of visits were a little rough, but wow; what a difference now. The food, service, and atmosphere have all leveled up in a big way.
