“We don't get out to K & M often, but thoroughly enjoy it when we do. I had the combination dinner with brisket and turkey, with cole slaw and cottage cheese for my sides. Service is always fast and friendly, the decor cute and homey with a western feel. Great sauces, pork tenderloins, and onion rings, too! I generally don't need this much sauce, but I was really feeling the spicy sauce today, don't judge 😂.”

“Who doesn’t love ice cream!! The sad part is that the ice cream was Bluebell but it wasn’t smooth. I had chunks of ice in mine, which is not normal for Bluebell. My husband got cannoli and it was good.”

Our food came out quick and super hot so you know it was all made to order and fresh! The Micheladas were good and the mango margarita was too! “Whenever my job brings me to KC I make a point of going to The Hide Out. Back in the day I was being sought-after by some yellow bellies who called themselves Bounty Hunters. So I'm hiding out at The Hide Out. I saw them first and jumped down a hatch that offered a more private exit. Besides this feature the place rocks. I drink to get drunk and these guys get me home every some how. Good chow, great service, and a very elegant restroom. You know your close when you spot the burnt ruins of some trouble maker's compound.”

“I've been going here for years - into my childhood (if it's still the same owners). The staff is very friendly, they'll cater to any allergies, and they're very quick to have the food ready. The food is delicious! When I order takeout, it's still steaming hot when I get home!”

“The people who write these reviews are terible review writers.The restaurant is good, and the food is well its subway, but if you are polite to the workers they will do better and they will be more likely to be polite to you. I know people just expect others to be nice to them even when they are rude but it feels nice to be apricated. Especially since they are essential workers have have been there for you in the during the midst of a pandemic. Do better and be positive!?”

“I stopped by this little rural Sonic Drive-In and honestly… I think I just experienced the friendliest fast food moment of my life 😂

First off, The absolute ray of sunshine who took my order. This young lady was so cheerful I half expected her to break into a musical number while reading back my order. I ordered a burger and somehow ended up with a better mood too.

When she brought the food out, she didn’t just hand it over and disappear like a fast food ninja—nope. She checked if I needed anything else, smiled like she actually meant it, and somehow made me feel like I was the VIP of Stall #18. In a world of “yeah, whatever” customer service, she was a full-on “you matter and also enjoy those tater tots” experience.

Food was hot, fresh, and exactly what I needed—but honestly, I’d come back just for the service. Give that girl a raise, a promotion, and maybe her own motivational podcast because she’s out here restoring faith in humanity one cheeseburger at a time.

10/10 would happily park, order, and be emotionally uplifted again.”

“I think I saw an ad for Yafa Cafe on Facebook. We are always searching for good Mediterranean food, it's hard to find in Kansas City. Seeing Kibbeh on the menu automatically moved them to the top on the list. We really enjoyed our meals and appetizers! The kibbeh was good, the spanakopia was good. All of our meals were good. I really enjoyed the creamy chicken plate. The chicken shawarma was good. Everyone liked the kabobs (chicken and beef). We will definitely be back! The owner and employees were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!”

“The BEST Asian restaurant in the Northland! The food is absolutely amazing—every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the attention to detail is top-notch. You have to try the crab wontons—they’re a must! We just had the Tokyo crispy chicken, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I haven’t had a single thing here that I didn’t love. Chris, the owner, always greets us with a warm smile, and he and his staff make you feel truly welcome every time. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and such a friendly atmosphere—Saki is hands down our favorite spot!”

“Food was solid, they have good gyros and the meat and falafel are well done. However the fries are dissapointing, with only a hint of parsley to make their limp form look like it's worth the price. Skip the fries and sides, get the Gyro”

“I usually like to enjoy A coffee or a breakfast after my gym session on the weekends, very friendly and positive energy when coming here. Theres this one specific server that always gets me rights and always very happy the serve me, I feel very welcomed and she goes out her way the make sure everything is right. She is a curly headed mexican young lady who deserves all the love and grace from everyone, very sweet heart and kind. Only reason why I go this specific franchise to be honest.”

“We had the steak breakfast burrito and it was by far one of the greatest I have ever had. Tender steak, fluffy eggs, little bites of heavenly potatoes and the softest tortilla. My only regret is sharing with someone and not eating the whole burrito on my own. I also had the hot salsa and if you are a spicy fan, don’t skip as it was perfection. We washed it down with horchata and it did not disappoint.I will be coming back to get a whole burrito to myself. Highly recommend!”

“Words can not describe how cool and authentic this place truly is… I’m only 20 years old but in my short life (living in Overland Park) never have I had such a genuinely unique experience at a restaurant in town. I immediately was taken away by how amazing the scenery was when you walk in, everything from the posters on the wall to the memorabilia on the shelf’s has a story behind it. Perhaps the most interesting thing about the place is the bike on the counter along the back side of restaurant. I wish I could tell you the story behind it but if I did it wouldn’t give you a reason to come here, so for that reason, I’ll let you hear it for yourself in person. The story teller behind it all is the owner, Bill. I had a chance to meet Bill briefly after me and my buddies finished up our meals and holy cow I’m glad I was able to meet him. He is an amazingly interesting guy and easy to talk to. If you ever have a chance to say hi to him while you are in there I highly suggest you do so. Even with all these cool stories, there is still something about this place that people need to experience for themselves… the food! The selections are simple yet amazing looking. My experience with the spicy ramen was fantastic and it was presented exactly how I had imagined it. The flavor was as authentic as it gets for ramen (to my knowledge) and the spice level was very reasonable. I also got the squid balls, which I was hesitant at first to eat (because of the name) but trust me they are amazing! With all this being said, that was only my first time being there.
