The military inspired beers both tickle your taste buds and your funny bone. This is a must-see for locals and travelers alike.”

“The Berry Patch has rows and rows of beautiful blueberries ripe for picking. I mean, you know, if you go at the right times. And you'll know if the picking is good by following their socials. They post daily picking reports so you can judge whether or not it's worth the drive. We went on a very good picking day, in the evening, and picked just over 3 lbs of berries in no time. I only wish I needed more because it was such a satisfying activity. The farm was easy to find. Google Maps led me there with no issues. We arrived at ample parking space. Staff handed us a bucket and directed us to the currently available picking rows. We then walked all the way to the back of rows 1-3 and found a bevy of berries. After the gathering, we went back to the beginning and headed inside the little store where the berries were weighed and paid for. Fresh berries are a MUST in the summer and these were quite literally the freshest! I made jumbo blueberry muffins and a blueberry-topped cheesecake and they were delicious. The Berry Patch is so worth the effort.”

“Miss B's has the best beef and noodles in the world! Noodles are hand made, thick, wide, delicious. Closest thing to my grandma's noodles I've found. I drive from Peculiar MO to experience this treat. I wish I could be emailed whenever beef and noodles are available! So good!!!!”

The reviews do not disappoint, and neither does the coffee, it's been phenomenal through the first few times we've been able to stop by. The baristas have always been very friendly and helpful. “A diamond in the rough of old downtown Belton Missouri. With its classic decorations and calming ambience while smooth jazz instrumentals play in the background. My taste buds were utterly thrilled by the cuisine and the company. A wee bit on the upscale side not recommended for families with children, I say this because of the type of sophisticated vibe this restaurant gives. Excellent spot for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Great for location for date night. (Open till 8pm on Friday) The food is absolutely excellent. I had their InRoll chicken club sandwich, with their incredibly tasty brussel sprouts starter partnered with some sweet tea. I also had their key lime pie for dessert which was also absolutely delicious. I highly recommend that you visit this restaurant when you can.”

“Rating is based on location and type of restaurant. The Ribeye was cooked perfectly and was a good cut of meat. I went there for a steak and was not disappointed at all. The sides went along with it. The atmosphere is what you'd expect at a small town steak house. To top it off, I couldn't have asked for better service.”

“Broken Hatchet is a fun brewery in Belton. There is a lot of seating and even a garage style door at the front to let in fresh air. While we were there, they had the Royals Game and the Current game on. We had the brisket nachos along with our flight. The nachos were great. I liked that they did not skimp on the toppings. We also had a beer flight. I enjoyed the black cherry seltzer and would order that again. Staff were all friendly and quick to give recommendations.”

“If you find yourself reading this, it might be a little wordy, and it is important. my roommates and i eat hear quite frequently not only because it is very affordable but also because it’s amazing food. it is always hot and tastes amazing we are never disappointed, but also because the staff is amazing. if you’re waiting on a take out order or eating in, they’re just amazing and today i learned that somehow they continue to amaze me with there service. we place a to go delivery through doordash and we do not normally do that, the food inevitably never got to us, we called to see if we could get it remade and the employee who helped us not only remade it for us but is also currently on the way with the delivery as we had originally planned. he was understanding about the situation and was able to help get us our food and as some very hangery people who haven’t ate all day, we couldn’t be more greatful. Will always love coming to eat hear and now even more so. 110% recommend <3”

“Mary's Mountain Cookies has a huge variety of different types of cookies. They had options that I have not seen at other cookie shops. The staff were inviting and gave us different recommendations. I had the chocolate and peanut butter cookie. The cookie was flat and bigger than my hand! I would recommend to those who are looking for fun and different cookie options!”

“I tried the tamales after our server highly recommend them. Usually, the typical dry tamales are why I don't order them from around this part of the world. However, I was amazed by how wonderful their tamales were. I got the cheese and Rojas tamales and red pork. The masa was delicious and moist, not dry at all, and for KC, these were some of the best tamales I have had in this area. They sell them by the dozen as well, and you know it, I got some to go.”

So confusion and a tight space does not mix well.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome indeed as any time I come here we have the whole family along with many other guests who visit at the same time.Wheelchair accessibility: With the tables so close together and limited seating available I don't see this as the most accommodating wheelchair accessible place to dine.”

“I can’t believe this place has been in my backyard in Raymore, MO all this time and I am just discovering it! The first time I tried the steamed basa (yes, they have basa!) with green beans and mac & cheese - fell in love! Second trip tried the pasta with garlic, spinach mushrooms and shrimp - fantastic! For the quality of the food, this place is a great value! I can’t wait to try the piece of sunshine lemon cake I brought home for dessert later! I will be back.”

“All-time favorite coffee go to place. Pumpkin spice latte, Caramellicious, and hot chocolate. I ordered a peppermint mocha and asked several times if they made it without caffeine (I was trying to get something for my 8 year old) they said yes. I tasted it first, and it seemed to have espresso or at least tasted like it might, so I was thankful I ordered the hot chocolate. Idk if it was without caffeine it tasted fire, and I had to drink it. Darn! I know they have smoothies and other drinks for kids.”
