The food was excellent as always but the waitstaff just kind of disappeared when we were almost done eating. We were also seated in the private party area with a massive group of people (we had a reservation and were not part of that party) about halfway through the meal. We could no longer hear anything the waitstaff said over the large party or even have a conversation at our table. We were seated next to the wine cooler and walk in cooler. We were cold the whole time. The same day reservations is a joke. No one does that. Our waiter was excellent. Very mediocre experience for the money spent.
We come to CC's every holiday season. The wait staff and support staff are always phenomenal and again were. BUT, our last trip in, the food quality and preparation trended downward. For 4 people and a $250 price tag, usually the food is better. Our filet's were dry, potato hard and the salads have shrunk. The squash and zucchini were very ordinary and firm. I'll chalk it up as we just got unlucky and the next time in, it will be as we remembered.
