I booked many hours in advance and arrived to pay and check in only to have the clerk say oh by the way no internet today it's not working also no restaurant food today either. This information was given after I paid and they accept no responsibilty.

Washer and dryer only on 2nd and 3rd floor both washers where broken and our clothes got stuck in the front load washer...didn't choose this hotel so my wife and I could spend three hours fighting washers (kinda stop hereto relax,,) and then end up ringing out the load by hand to put in the dryer that has drum bearings out sounded Ike it was going to bounce out the door behind me...Noteworthy details: Washer/dryer needs replacement

This is absolutely the worst experience that I have had at any hotel for quite some time. If you want to eat breakfast, don't plan on spending less than 45 minutes waiting. They have one person taking orders, cooking and bussing the tables.Want to have a drink at the hotel bar, plan to chase the bartender down if they even show up.Was with a group of 6 people in for a local business meeting and stayed here. This was the first time and the last time, none of us will ever return. Horrible service.

A good suite which as a surprise to us, came with a Jacuzzi. Unfortunately the water was very bleachy smelling to the point of being nauseating so we skipped using it.The heat seemed to be a bit off in both rooms though not to the point of causing discomfort. Heat would turn off seemingly at random & blow cool air regardless of whether set to on or automatic. All of the staff we interacted with during our stay were friendly & professional.Rooms were very clean with one of the best beds we've slept in at any hotel. I'd love to know the manufacturer of the mattress if they'd be willing to divulge the information. Nice quality large television in the main king room as well. I'd totally be willing to stay here again.

Definitely not the same….My husband and I stayed there a few times last year and I gotta say it’s a little disappointing seeing Nancy is no longer there….after finding that out we headed to grab a drink from the bar and say hi to the cute little girl bartending just to find out she’s no longer there either!Seeing them and being able to visit was part of what made staying there so enjoyable..Food & drinks: Bring the old bartender backShe was damn good at her job. The girl there now is ok but clearly doesn’t have much experience

Very, and I mean VERY, poor management. It’s obvious the higher ups don’t care about their employees because they never have what they need and are usually understaffed. Resulting in poor customer experiences. If you can stay somewhere else you should, and when the football season is in full swing and you can’t stay anywhere else in town, I would suggest sleeping in your car vs over paying to have a bad experience. This place is basically a 2 star hotel with a Gucci belt on. Stay as far away as possible.

Bed was saggy. Bathrooms needed to be updated. However, the worst was the breakfast. They didn't have complimentary breakfast, so I had to beg for a free voucher. It wasn't even worth it. Coffee was cold. They didn't have the vegetables for an omelette. So it's just a ham and cheese omelette. No potatoes, no peppers. They were out of them as well. Horrible breakfast. What a way to start my travels. When omelette did come out, the ham was not cut up. One big slice in the middle. Toast was not buttered. So putting on cold butter on cold toast was no fun.I highly recommend going somewhere else.

Mixed Experience at Holiday InnI recently stayed at the Holiday Inn with my family for a High School Football game State Championship at Faurot Field (Missouri) and had a mixed experience. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, creating a positive first impression. They were helpful and attentive, making the check-in process smooth. However, my enthusiasm waned upon entering the room. While it was clean, the overall ambiance left much to be desired. The decor felt outdated, and the furniture showed signs of wear and tear. The bed was comfortable, but the room lacked modern amenities that are now standard in many hotels. The carpeting was stained pretty bad and in one spot it felt like a hole had been patched and the patch itself had risen up creating a hump. Additionally the hearing and air conditioning never worked correctly. The wall control for the air/heat didn’t work and went dead when I tried to use it.Additionally, the bathroom, though clean, seemed in need of an update. The shower had lower water pressure, and the fixtures appeared dated. It's clear that some refurbishment would greatly enhance the guest experience.Despite the room's shortcomings, the exceptional service from the front desk team somewhat compensated for the overall stay. With a bit of renovation, the Holiday Inn could offer a more enjoyable and up-to-date lodging experience.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, Saturday there was a ball game in COMO, all the hotels were booked and this place was charging $336.00 plus a $50.00 deposit for a room that had a king bed and of course that's all they had. Notice this was just a room NOTHING fancy Nothing extra. I don't usually stay in Hotels around Columbia so I called back today just to see what the regular room rates are and spoke with Jessica. She said they don't have regular rates it depends on availability and what's going on. So to me I think that's what we would call price gouging. So whenever there's a ball game or anything special IHG Holiday Inn East is going to jack up their room rates and take advantage of the situation ie price gouging. I won't be back, won't recommend but will tell everyone how you set your prices.

Phone number is incorrect on invoice. Rooms are clean. Vehicle was hit in their parking lot during the night. Asked for assistance to view their cameras, which were watching the area where I was parked. No help. No response. There is a restaurant for purchasing meals; no continental breakfast.Addendum: thanks for your reply below. I emailed you, but no response. Is that just for show for others to make it seem like you're doing the right thing?

The rooms are outdated. The bathroom door, closet, and front door are awkwardly cramped. Great location, conveniently located right off on I-70. Complimentary breakfast would be nice, for the price of the room.
