I had the tacos al pastor. Different than other Mexican restaurants. Had to ask for the hot salsa that came with it. There was more fat on the pork. I did like the regular salsa that came with the chips.
Service was not very good, especially since they were not busy.

The food was bland and tasted stale. The bigger issue was that the second me and my friends sat down all of us started having massive sinus issues to the point that by the time I left I couldn’t breathe, felt nauseous, and like my head was going to explode. It cleared up the second I walked outside of the restaurant but the migraine from the pressure lasted all day.
The food was bland and flavorless. The biggest issue was the second we sat down my whole group started having an allergic reaction to something in the air. None of us are related but all of us started having massive sinus issues and congestion followed by headaches. I was so sick by the time I left I couldn’t function the rest of the day.

Favorite Mexican food in town!
First I would like to say we usually order your quesadilla fajitas and they are fantastic! Also, your service before has been wonerful. Today was very different. I decided to order your chicken enchilada suizas as I had made them and had them elsewhere. I could tolerate them because they had a creamy sauce. However, yours came with a dark red sauce (I found out later it was mole). I told the first server I didn't eat tomato sauce, she shrugged her shoulders and left. We didn't see a server for some time, so I tried to scrape off the sauce and eat what I could. Much later a second server asked if we were finished with our meal and brought boxes. After waiting sometime, I had to stand and let someone know we were ready to leave. I noticed one server was making gift bags at one table and three servers were sitting and talking together by the bar. When the checkout person asked how everything was, I told her that the chicken enchilda suizas were not made with a suiza sauce and told her that I did not tolerate the tomato sauce. She said that your restaurant makes them with a mole sauce. Please do not list them as chicken enchilda suizas when they are not that.

Absolutely fabulous food and service. We had fajitas for two, enchiladas and carne asada. Margaritas, cerveza and the iced tea was terrific.

The food was okay. The water was awful. I don't know what was going on with the water, but it was funky.

I forgot to take pictures, but me and my mom both got quesadillas. She got a fajita one and I got a regular one. I have yet to find a Mexican restaurant that I love more than my local one here in Oak Grove, Missouri. But after traveling down to Columbia and having their food, it was absolutely amazing and I will be coming again!!

So so impressed with this restaurant! The restaurant is extremely clean, and all of the food we’ve tried including salsa and chips were amazing. The food got to us quick, too.

Really very good. Probably the best in Columbia. There are several good Tex Mex restaurants in Columbia but I think LA Tolteca is the top contender.
