Been going here for over 4 years. Food has always been great. Very flavorful. Just recently went with 3 other friends. I dont know if they have a new cook or what, but the food was terrible. They've increased the prices by $5 in the last 2 years. The spicy chicken and pork ramen had no flavor. Was a bowl of flavorless oil. They are selling there old bowls and decreased their portion sizes with the new ones. They used to give u a whole split egg but only give u one half now. Also ordered their pork belly bun. The bread, which is usually soft, was rock hard and the pork was hella chewy like it was wayy overcooked. All 4 of us have been regulars and were extremely dissapointed. Oughta change their name to Le Oil. Spend your $15-25 dollars somewhere else. Hopefully they see this and fix the problems. Just because the college students are back shouldnt result you to lower standards and increase the prices.

Le Bao is one of our favorite places here in Columbia. When we have out-of-town guests, we often suggest dining at Le Bao so that we make a good impression with a unique locally owned restaurant that can only be found here in Columbia. Their food is delicious, and the serving size is generous. I typically get carryout, and make two meals out of a single serving of ramen.
I'm grateful that we have unique locally owned places like Le Bao.

The ramen sucks. Broth is closer to Instant Lunch than real ramen, pork is belly cubes instead of char siu, and the eggs were not jammy in the middle at all. The service is friendly and helpful, and I’m sure that other menu items are wonderful, but skip the ramen entirely.

The food was good noodles were a little too fat for my liking but the broth made up for it, the atmosphere was nice and comfortable. Parking was conveniently close by as well as being close to the college so you can walk around the block an see a lot of cool art pieces up around the neighborhood. All n all I'd say it's definitely worth a visit.

We used to love coming here, and we've been trying to come here for weeks, but the most recent time we came, they were closed due to menu changes. We were upset but not deterred. We came back the next week, and what we found was incredibly disappointing. We all ordered the pork ramen. New bowls (smaller serving), which is fine. Whatever. But the toppings are a whole 'nother story. They switched from a beautiful bowl full of toppings and flavor to a subpar bowl of noodles. They've changed the recipe for the pork bowl to include corn and spinach, cheap and extremely bland foods. No more bamboo shoots. They've also cut down the number of egg halves, from 2 to 1. Less meat. The ramen noodles themselves were in several congealed clumps. All in all, I was served a worst bowl of ramen than I had ever received from this establishment, but it still costs $15. (Actually, didn't they used to only cost $12? Sure, inflation. But for this?) I used to look at the ramen, contemplating whether I could finish it. Now, I am still wanting more. (Plus, they had forgotten to add the bean sprouts to our dishes, and mistakes happen, but we had to go up and ask for some. This is honestly the least of my problems, but it goes to show how much care is put into this.) In any case, I'm extremely sorry to say that I will probably never order their ramen again. Which is a shame! Sad to see a good thing go.

Used to love Le Bao, but they changed their chicken ramen recipe and it’s very plain now. The chicken used to be seasoned way better. They switched over to spinach, which just doesn’t really go with the ramen. I wish they would go back to the old recipe, it was way more worth the price and better.

I got gluten free rice noodles and they were hard and very undercooked. My mom got regular ramen noodles. They were overcooked. And not a good flavor.
The chicken was ok with a nice spice.
The atmosphere was fine and service was fine.
But noodles, not good. So not going back.

Highly upset $10 for kids meal 3 bites and I was done. This portion is so small I had to order two more portions! For $10 I could’ve went to stirfry and got a way bigger portion! Hold
We ordered 3 bowls of the ramen, it was about an hour wait, which we were told ahead of time. But 2 out of the 3 bowls had HUGE globs of uncooked noodle in them. Was disappointed after a drive from jeff city.
