Le Bao is one of our favorite places here in Columbia. When we have out-of-town guests, we often suggest dining at Le Bao so that we make a good impression with a unique locally owned restaurant that can only be found here in Columbia. Their food is delicious, and the serving size is generous. I typically get carryout, and make two meals out of a single serving of ramen.

I'm grateful that we have unique locally owned places like Le Bao.

The ramen sucks. Broth is closer to Instant Lunch than real ramen, pork is belly cubes instead of char siu, and the eggs were not jammy in the middle at all. The service is friendly and helpful, and I’m sure that other menu items are wonderful, but skip the ramen entirely.

The food was good noodles were a little too fat for my liking but the broth made up for it, the atmosphere was nice and comfortable. Parking was conveniently close by as well as being close to the college so you can walk around the block an see a lot of cool art pieces up around the neighborhood. All n all I'd say it's definitely worth a visit.
