There was a place growing up that everyone knew had the best burger around. Sadly they closed many years ago, but I recently tried this place for the first time and immediately gave me a nostalgic experience of that original burger place. Seriously, give them a try. Amazing!

We needed a quick bite but didn't want to go to a chain, so we found Mad Cow. You order at the counter and bus your own table, but tables opened up pretty quickly and it looks like they do a lot of take-out business. The menu is simple, but I was able to add some tasty customizations to my burger. AND I loved it. The fries are really good too. The grilled cheese on the kids' menu is actually a burger bun, so it doesn't have the crispiness that our little one was after, but that is small beans. The price felt high before I reminded myself that beef is really expensive right now, and this was good beef. Would absolutely go again the next time I'm in the area.

Always looking for a good burger? Then you definitely need to give Mad Cow a try!! Food is Awesome! Prices are good! Staff is friendly. They get busy fast. They have kid meals available. Who doesn't love cheese sauce? We'll it's self serve and free here which is amazing! The place is pretty spacious at least 15 tables and a bar type area to sit at. Meal deals are available which is a burger drink and fry. Different burger choices. No charge for toppings! The funnel fries were very tasty!

Fries were overcooked. Out of Pepsi and Dr pepper. Overrated hamburger and cheese burger. Spent 46 dollars for three. Bread buns were fresh. Probably skip it if could do it again. Didn't even smell like hamburgers inside...... strange?

Absolutely delicious burger and fries meal. Every time we drive through Columbia, Mad Cow is a must visit.
I'm an out of towner and I thought this place is really good if not better than five guys. I think people should rate this a little more because this place is quality in my opinion. So every time I come down here I will be stopping for a burger at the MC.
