The cats were great! I got some basic drip coffee. I loved giving lots of scritches. The staff was very

The coffee was delicious and the kitties were so cute, one of them came and laid in my lap and started purring. I enjoyed my visit very much and I can't wait to go again.

Normally I would say 5 stars because the cats are great and the coffee and tea is too, however during my last visit, things went less smoothly. I brought friends from out of state to come visit and we all made sure to book online a few hours ahead of time, plus I called ahead to make sure they'd have room for 3.When we got there, we had to wait a half hour after we were scheduled to come in. I guess someone had an issue managing the scheduling. While we were waiting by the register along with another couple people (again, for a half hour), at some point a man who I believe was the manager barged in the front door and berated the employee working the register and making our drinks. It was one of the most unprofessional things I had seen in a long time, and my friends from out of state are going to remember that as their first experience here. Quite disappointing. So, 3 stars for the manager acting highly unprofessional by being rude to his employee right in front of customers. Otherwise, the cashier/barista did a wonderful job and the cat playroom was tidy.

We drove two hours to meet a friend who lives across state and Columbia is in the middle for both of us. Both our kids love cats and we thought his would be a great place to visit. There was some mix up with the reservation and instead of them being understanding they just told us to leave.l and then even still charged my friend! We went somewhere else after having to google because neither of us know Columbia and the restaurant we ended up at confirmed they have heard a lot of stories that the workers here are rude. So I just want to leave this review to warn people be prepared for rude treatment and lack of empathy.

Not really a place for food though they do have a little. Mostly this place is for you to hang out with cats. It's great! There are always new kitties and there are always ones that will come up to you for pets or play with the toys around.

Went on a Friday morning as a walk- in. Thankfully they had room for us! (I recommend making reservations to make sure you can get in at the time you want since it seems this place is popular)The fee for entering the cat portion of the cat Cafe was reasonable and we stayed for 1 hour. There were around 10 cats in the main area of the cat Cafe and plenty of toys, ramps, and hiding places for them to play with. When I went, lots of the cats were in a playful mood and went Berserk with the feather wand. The cats in the main area were not shy at all, and many of them came up to sniff and demand pets. There was a separate room that you could go in (with the worker's permission) where they keep the new additions to the cat Cafe and other cats who are still very shy. These ones weren't very willing to play, but they also weren't hostile. This place is very kid friendly. There was a family of 4 when I went and the toddler was having a blast playing with the cats. Even the baby in the mother's arm seemed to enjoy watching the cats from a distance. At one point, a cat climbed onto a table nearby and sniffed the baby's face. It was a very friendly and cute interaction to watch. The food itself was pretty good. I had the Chai latte and Lengua de Gato (long crispy cookies with melted chocolate dipping sauce). They were both pretty good, and the chai latte was the perfect level of sweetness :)If you don't want to pay the extra entrance fee to enter the cat Cafe, there is a small bar stool area that has a large window overlooking the cat play area.Overall, an amazing place to visit if you're a cat lover. The worker's and cats are very friendly and you can tell the owners really care about the well being of the cats. As an added bonus, the cats are available for adoption!Kid-friendliness: Cats are very friendly and open to playing with younger children.

It's a fun place if you want to pet cats. Trying to drink a coffee with multiple cats also trying to drink your coffee isn't great. Some are pretty determined to get in there. With 10+ cats it smells a bit, but not as much as I though it might. You also have to pay for your time. We accidentally went over because we were just talking and like didn't set a timer. Then when we left, the guy at the register was kind of rude about paying for overage time. If that was such a problem, you'd think someone would come tell you when your time was up. I wasn't against paying, but the guy didn't have to be rude about it.

I loved being here with the cats, coffee I ordered was good. Also got a few little things, sticker, button, earrings. Not a staff issue or anything but did dampen my visit a bit was another customer seemed to be very over stimulated walking around with 2 phones talking loudly on FaceTime on one while recording and taking pictures with the other. When any other customer would interact with a cat, including myself, she was inserting herself into the interactions others were having. Im not sure how that situation could have been resolved.Absolutely would love to return, if you are a cat lover you must go. While I was there they had kittens!! You could also take a cat or kitten to a smaller quieter room to interact with them as well.

Went with wife to play with kittens and cats. If you love animals this is the go to place! Found a kitten we loved and adopted him. I didn't buy any food so I couldn't rate it. But the staff and kittens are great!

Front of house is a little small, I'm guessing this was a conscious choice so the cat room would have more space. The cat's have a separate room that had litter boxes and a place to be if they got overstimulated which is nice. Friendly staff would recommend, would go again, pet all the kitties!

Very clean and fun environment! The staff are kind, and they explained the adoption process very well! I highly recommend this cafe

Amazing cafe with a truly unique experience for the whole family. Great drink options and the cutest cats in all of Columbia, which are all adoptable!! The wranglers are so knowledgeable about all of the cats and they do a great job keeping the playroom free of litter smells. If you're looking for something cheap and fun to do in Columbia, this is the place for you! You can even get a free drink to enjoy with the cats just for making an online reservation. So, whether it's after your workout at Crunch or after a stressful day at your job, Papa's is the place to go to just kick back, relax, and enjoy some pet therapy.

Our girl just loves cats to pieces so this place was amazing for her!(I gave it a 4/5 only because I thought it was a little bit pricey.)Otherwise, it’s a 5/5 for cat lovers!

Okay so first things first, the cats are the draw. You come here for a kitty fix. They had grown up cats, and adoptable kittens, as well as a couple non-adoptable cats. They had a range of personalities and i was so happy to get some kitty love in my life. That said, the coffee is nothing to ignore! We were pleasantly surprised by how good the coffee was, and they can make it to go! I had a Nutella iced latte, and my partner just a regular iced coffee but both were better than expected. I would 100% come back for the cats but also for the coffee.

Cats and caffeinated drinks. It's pretty much a recipe for an amazing day. I didn't 100% love the drink I chose. I picked an iced birthday cake coffee. The only thing making it "Birthday Cake" was some colored sprinkles on top. Taste-wise, nothing special. But, the kitties more than made up for the lackluster drink.
