Avoid Roxy's at all cost. The Penguin Piano Bar is worth a stop if visiting town, but can get old quick if you're local.

Drinks are usually good and the deals are great; if you just want loud music and a fun night of drunk dancing without any expectations, it's tough to beat. Just be sure to bring a friend or two.

Wow. Really the trashiest place around. Only college 18 yr old that have absolutely NO where else to go would patron this place. Disrespectful con artist.
Thursdays are the only reasonable night to go here, for bottomless cup. The majority of the Roxy's crowd is unbearable so I like to go when they open, when not as many people are there, down drink after drink and leave before the dance floor fills up. $10 includes the cover, bottomless cups, and access to all levels. Bartenders are always attentive and it's easy and fast to get drinks.

Went in on New Years. Place was empty and they were turning away patrons. I've lived in Columbia for more than 5 years and was just visiting from out of town. Was kicked out by bouncer when asking to pay for entry. What happened to a staple bar in CoMo? This place is seriously trash now.

The security guy's CAN be rude. I was once turned down for wearing black joggers that are essentially the same as jeans. Then the guy told me if I gave him $5 he could look past it. Pretty sleazy. Mostly a pretty intoxicated crowd, but at least the dance floor is usually pretty decent.
