Kailyn (I am so sorry if I butchered the spelling) is always awesome! Immediate greeting and the best service. My partner and I have had her the last 4 or 5 times we have been in and she’s awesome. Fries dumplings come in at a close second. ?

They were closed for Labor Day weekend but didn’t have a sign out or anything so we drove there for nothing and waited 15 minutes for them to not open

I hadn't been here in more than 10 years until just the other night. I admit I went there just because there was a really fun girl I wanted to hang out with. But I was very pleasantly surprised the drinks we're fantastic and the sushi was even better. Zack made me two of the best sushi rolls I have had since the last time I was there 10 years ago. The flavor profile was exactly what I wanted and the texture was perfect. It wasn't loose or sloppy at all honestly it was quite a work of art that was totally delicious. Great crowd of good people good smiles and good vibes. If you're lucky you might meet Bill who likes to hang out at the bar and has great taste in cargo shorts! I don't wear cargo shorts but he sure knows how to rock them! but seriously I don't wear cargo shorts, just so you don't get us confused. See you there next time ?

The service was the best. The sushi was ok. Ramen broth was mid. Ramen toppings were good, too much bamboo.

Service was very friendly. Food was good but not amazing. Seaweed salad had more lettuce than I would have liked, the sauce with the calamari was overly salty, no complaints about the sushi, but the special (fried chicken curry) was somewhat underwhelming with flavors and the noodles were overcooked/soggy.

I stumbled on this place by accident on Saturday June 1st, 2024 at around 7:00pm. I was looking to have a nice poke bowl for dinner. Poke bowls were not on their menu, but the sushi chef (non Japanese) said he could make one and it was way better than the place around the corner called A Little More Poke Bowl. I decided to trust them and try it out. Their Poke Bowls were awful! Hardly any tuna in the dish that was chopped so fine you could hardly find any in the bowl! In addition, for reason unknown, the sushi chef decided to put cold hard rice in the bowl! Another strike! Not sure what their rolls or sushi was like, but I'll never come back to Sake!

While passing through town, my girlfriend insisted on showing me her old college neighborhood. After some exploration, we discovered a remarkable restaurant and decided to dine there.

The highlight of our meal was the "double fried curry" special, which was exceptional. My girlfriend opted for the "volcano roll" and the "Mizzou roll," both of which were delightful. The bartender was not only attentive and friendly but also incredibly helpful. The two sushi chefs demonstrated remarkable expertise and delivered outstanding sushi.

The kitchen staff, particularly the individual responsible for the curry, crafted an exquisite dish that exceeded our expectations. If a six-star rating were possible, this establishment would certainly deserve it.

Additionally, the host and servers were exceptionally polite, cheerful, and attentive, contributing to an overall outstanding dining experience. This restaurant is highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

Awesome place. Drinks are fire. Should have got sushi. Our udon was mediocre. The special was way off from curry I'm used too. But the gents behind the counter made it all good by giving us some sushi samples that were amazing.

Ordered takeout food on a Monday night. Ordered a bento-box online and waited almost 30 minutes for the restaurant to call us and say that our order is only served during lunch time. The server on the phone was very polite and helped us change our order. After maybe an hour longer of a wait, we called the restaurant and they still said they weren’t complete with the order. We arrive in the store 30 minutes before closing and they still were finishing our food.

As I was sitting there, I wanted to order a quick sushi roll since I was starving and I asked the waitress if it was going to be a hassle and she said absolutely not. The kind sever goes to tell the sushi chef and he decides to throw a fit in front of my face and throws his equipment around the tables. Made us feel very unwelcome. Extremely unprofessional and I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon.

Great service though, just wish the sushi chef cared about making food for his customers.

It’s a lovely place until you walk in at 430p with no one seated and place your order for ramen and one sushi roll just to sit for over an hour. And watch two tables seated after you get their sushi rolls and appetizers. Obviously we must not have fit the “standard” to receive prompt service. Still didn’t even get the sushi roll we ordered.
