Absolutely loved this place!! If we were in town longer it would have been our stop daily! The drinks were different but delicious and the crepes …. 🤤🤤🤤
Add in the ambiance of the space and so many nooks and crannies and cozy spots to hang out, it’s the perfect spot!

Went there to get coffee on a Sunday morning they informed us that their main room is reserved so I went up stairs to find someone yelling repeatedly and hitting the table so loud you could here it from down stairs and when I informed the worker that there is someone doing this they said it is fine. That person would’ve been kicked out of any downtown Columbia bar in 5 seconds and you are allowing him in your coffee shop there guy was hitting and throwing his table around absolutely unacceptable. Plus my chicken toast was cold

Acola is one of those rare coffee shops that instantly makes you feel relaxed and productive at the same time. The environment is absolutely amazing — open, bright, and incredibly spacious, which makes it perfect for getting work done without feeling crowded. The vibe is calm yet full of energy, with just the right amount of background chatter and music. Their lattes are top-notch — smooth, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care. Whether you’re settling in for a full work session or just meeting a friend, it’s the kind of place you can stay for hours and actually enjoy every minute. The staff is friendly, the Wi-Fi is strong, and there’s plenty of seating for both solo work and small groups. Acola nails that modern-coffee-shop feel — part creative studio, part cozy escape. Easily one of the best spots in town for great coffee and great vibes.

I visited this establishment yesterday with a friend. It was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. I ordered an iced caramel coffee with creme and a super nova crepe. It was delicious.

Cute coffee shop, vibes were vibing. It gets pretty busy and loud but found a nice little quiet nook to do some studying. Food and drinks were great. I was able to try both the matcha and their coffee.

This is by far the best place to get amazing coffee, espresso drinks, and food. Their cappuccinos and lattes are as good as any I have had in Europe, New York, or Portland. They are really good. If you are expecting your latte to be made with cheap coffee beans and milk that has been steamed way too long, then go somewhere else. If you want to experience what these drinks should really taste like, then go to Acola. Their food is amazing too. The people who work at Acola are always professional, polite and helpful.

This is, without a doubt, the best coffee shop in Columbia, MO. I have been to pretty much every coffee shop in town, and few, if any, hold a candle to Acola. This place checks all the boxes. Fantastic atmosphere, great service and the BEST coffee. If you’re look for a new coffee spot to check out then check this place out. I doubt you will be disappointed, especially if you’re a coffee connoisseur!

We absolutely loved our visit to Acola Coffee Company! It was a rainy day, and the cozy atmosphere with beautiful views made it the perfect place to relax. The space is quite large—great for gatherings or finding a quiet corner to study on one of the upper floors.
We had their black coffee, which was incredibly fresh and bold—just the way I like it. They offer free refills while you're in the store, but honestly, the coffee is so strong and satisfying you probably won’t need one 😅
We also tried the pumpkin latte, and it was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. Such a comforting and delicious treat!
Definitely one of the best coffee spots I’ve been to. Highly recommended!
