“I absolutely love this place, all of the cool donut options looked so delicious. They change their menu monthly, so I’m excited to come back to try the new donut flavors. The nice lady at the front counter told me their raspberry jelly is so good, and she wasn’t lying! I could just eat the raspberry jelly plain, it’s so so good. We will definitely be back!“

“This donut shop is phenomenal! I don’t even know how to tell you how amazing they are. I’ve tried A LOT of donut shops in and around the St. Louis area as doing so, is part of my business. I do Donut Walls for weddings and events. Donut Drive In has NEVER disappointed me! They are top notch! Always so fresh and tasty! Wedding guest LOVE their donuts. Every time I order from them, I’m impressed by the whole process from easily ordering them online, to picking them up. I love that option! The staff including Erin, are exceptional! Is the front walk in area small? Yes, but who cares! It’s an old fashion AMAZING donut shop that isn’t made for you to sit down and eat inside. Oh they’re just so delicious! They are always making the donuts fresh. Every time I pick them up, they’re like friendly busy bees. Bravo to you all for keeping up the donut quality and standards that the original owner sooooo many years ago implemented.“

“Sunday morning there was a short line to get in. It moved very fast. The staff knows how to handle a crowd and do it without any problems.They had a great selection of doughnuts and pastries (apple fritters). As soon as they were taken away and boxed up more were brought out. There was never any lack of choice. I got 2 1/2 dozen for the family of about everything. We had a great Sunday breakfast. My grand daughters love all doughnuts but especially any with sprinkles and doughnut holes. Oldtown Doughnuts is worth a drive and if you see a line I will move fast. Fantastic awesome Doughnuts.Parking: Parking right in front of the store.Kid-friendliness: While there are tables available inside on busy days I would suggest taking the doughnuts home. I was there Sunday morning. While everyone was very polite and things moved fast, the story was crowded. Kids will love to pick their own doughnuts and this is a great place to let them help.Wheelchair accessibility: The doors are wide enough for wheelchairs. There is handicap parking right in front of the store. The staff is helpful, polite, and very curtious, so any assistance anyone needs should be no problem.“

“Gotta love a place that sees you drooling over hot Cinnamon twist donuts and the guy breaks off a piece of melt in your mouth warm donuts. The glazed croissants are amazing. Really like the newer crew in there the past few years…. Definitely have a passion for what they do it shows in the product. Will be back !“

“This place is worth a try if you've never been. They have a huge amount of donut options. I enjoyed the butterfinger chocolate cake and the m&m chocolate cake flavor. My ham egg and cheese on a whole wheat bagel was hot and fresh. My husband says that the burger was mediocre, but he really loved his glazed donut. Friendly staff as well.“

“Wowee! These donuts were SO much better than I expected. Made to oder and served warm. Delicious! We ate them there, so I'm not sure how they'd be cold or warmed back up later. I'm not a huge fan of cake donuts, but these are much better.... not a traditional dense cake donut and the outside was a little crispy. Yum! They're small, but one was enough for me. “Visited this little gem in Maplewood two days in a row. Such a quiet and beautiful place located next to a cute little park. We stopped in and sampled their toast trio, donuts, coffee and absolutely loved it all. The staff is incredible sweet and on our 2nd visit they were hosting an open mic for the String Collective. Not only did we get to bask in the sun, we got to listen to incredible performance while eating our yummy treats. We will be back!“

“Get there before he sells out! Neighborhood bakery. Family owned and operated. Small place with big taste. There is a signature taste that cannot be duplicated. You know how donuts taste like...well...donuts but nothing too special about the recipe? Well there is something really delicious going on here. Fresh, different varieties, and sometimes something unique. I recommend any of the glazed and the cinnamon twist is seasoned perfectly without being overbearing. I like the blueberry glazed too! He serves cold drinks and coffee as well. This is definitely the bakery to go to! Busy in the AM but service is pretty fast. A one (wo)man show.“

“Ordered the bisque/ gravy, pancakes, omelet, and the bisque/ gravy platter. The food is amazing and tastes more home-cooked than commercial, which I LOVE!! Now, the show stopper is the giant cinnamon roll with the chocolate frosting...OMG it's ABSOLUTELY amazing!! Super soft, and the taste is beyond! Best one in town, hands down! Love the atmosphere it is a true local hangout. I love eating in a place where the locals gather. That's how you know you're in the right place!“

“Here's the thing, you pull up and it's obvious that this place is joyful. Great signage, lots of color, clean, fresh, and a back wall of these beautiful, scrumptious looking (and smelling!) donuts, and other items too. The donuts are that tender, flaky, not cakes kind, with the crackly sugar and frosting that could have been made by your grandma, super tasty, and seemingly with real vanilla. A grand slam doughnut joint! I recommend you try the vanilla long John - it is my wife's favorite and now it is mine. Stop by and pick out your favorite donuts and remember to break it open and smell it deeply before you eat it, the smell, oh my goodness, it is entrancing. One of my top favorite smells of all times!“

“They have some of the best donuts in the lou so light and airy like you eating a cloud melts in your mouth there special burritos are good I'm going to try the bagel sandwich next but donuts it don't matter what kind you get even the cake donuts I love the blueberry so delicious and I normally don't like cake donuts but there's are exquisite once you try it you'll be hooked a must try“

“Stopped by here on my way back from court to take donuts to the office. First time here. There wasn't a huge variety but there weren't any left either when I arrived back to the office announcing I stopped at Donut King. Made sure to get the main attorney his favorite - jelly donut. :) Highly recommend these donuts! Professional and friendly staff too.“

They had loads of fresh and different things to choose from. I only got one, but I made it count! I got a big apple fritter that was perfect.
