We have been wanting to try Homeplate Bar & Grill for quite some time. They are only open M-F so living farther away we hadn’t had the chance until Presidents Day we decided to go and have lunch. Pictured is the Mushroom/Swiss burger with Cheese curds, Patty Melt with fries and Double Bacon Cheese Burger with Waffle Fries. Service was good considering there was only one girl waiting on all the tables. Burgers were good, but a touch over cooked. A couple of us got burgers on the Texas toast and the bread fell apart, don't really know why, maybe too dry? Overall it was ok for your "go to" greasy burger joint.

I did not expect much from this place and when I tasted the food I was blown away. FLW has all these small burger joints in the surrounding area but this is by far my favorite. The burgers are filling and delicious. What more could you want? O, they try to locally source all of their food. I love this place.
