“We have been wanting to try Homeplate Bar & Grill for quite some time. They are only open M-F so living farther away we hadn’t had the chance until Presidents Day we decided to go and have lunch. Pictured is the Mushroom/Swiss burger with Cheese curds, Patty Melt with fries and Double Bacon Cheese Burger with Waffle Fries. Our meals were soooo good reminds you of having a home cooked meal instead of everything coming from a box. Portions are large enough to definitely fill you up. They also have limited beer choices which is nice if you like to have one with your meal (we do).Our waitress was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. We are happy-go-lucky people and always joking around our waitress joined right in and WE LOVE THAT!! I highly recommend visiting Homeplate Bar & Grill you will not be disappointed! 5 ⭐️Wheelchair accessibility: You can access the restaurant with a wheel chair from both sides of the front door. Doorway was wide enough to make it easily accessible.“
“We're from St. Louis and Illinois and stop by here every year after our annual Friends Float. The food is simply delicious and their shakes/ice cream are beyond amazing ?!!! Don't let the small building fool you, they're cookin up some tasty stuff in there. If I lived near by I would be a regular patron. Thank you for feeding us after our long, fun, and exhausting day on the river... much appreciated! It has made our trip so much more relaxing by not having to prepare, cook, and clean up dinner after the float. Thank you and see you next year.“
“Come here if you want a good steak. It's a little drive off the main hwy but it's worth it for the view they offer from the restaurant. They are very friendly towards military people. They have a few waitresses there who are from Guam, and you can call them ahead of time and ask them to make some rice for you to eat with your steak. Also they make a sauce called finadene, which is a great alternative to steak sauce. That is a great way to get a part of home when you're stuck in Missouri.“
