“Baxters is one of my new spots to dine! Great people at this place! Chef Corey was amazing to talk to and the only one that knew the ingrediants/flavors/spices to my favorite steaks in the world, a Florentine Steak! I knew at that instance I was going to give this place a try. Talking to Ted ,the owner of Baxters ,about my bad experience at the restaurant next door,(JBH) and them charging us over a $120 for one plate( price was not concerning, but them hiding it until we ate the worst food in our fine dining experience was!) that included frozen lobster that could not be eaten all the way due to it being so tough from being frozen too long and not getting silverware for over 20 minutes after the dinner was served, he gave us confidence in his restaurant by personally inviting us with an open reservation of our timing and at any spontanious moment and showing me the kitchen which could not be exceeded in cleanliness or matched in appearance and professionalism. My business in serving commercial kitchens gives me the insight into many restaurants and this experience guarentees our return. Total recommendation in all they provide. Oh and lets not forget the service, top notch, there was not an empty glass or dirty dish left on our table more then 5 seconds and the timing of our courses insured a complete experience with no time to wait! “LO Cafe is one of my favorite spots! The food is amazing and consistent every single time. I love that I can just cruise up by jetski or boat — it’s such a fun way to grab a meal, especially in season when I can roll in barefoot. But honestly, I love coming in the off season just as much.

They’re located off the Bagnell Dam strip, and weekends can get pretty busy, but the staff still manages to do an amazing job keeping up with the crowd without sacrificing quality.

My go-to order is the Steak Benedict — they make their hollandaise sauce in house, and it’s honestly one of a kind. Highly recommend!“

“We had the nachos and pretzel sticks with beer cheese appetizers. The pretzels appear deep fried which gave them a nice crunchy texture and the beer cheese was delicious. The nachos have my favorite type of thin Cantina style chip and the queso was good. Service was good, are waitress was friendly and helpful. She also kept our drinks full. We sat outside with a great view of the main channel. We had several drinks off their show themed drink menu and they were all fantastic. I also enjoyed a strawberry Starburst shot.“

“Was there last night for a special event. Very nice place, well designed with a large fire pit by the stage. Lot's of room for dancing during concerts. Will try out the happy hour and the weekend breakfast. I heard they have the best chicken tenders. Will see.“

“We are locals, but had not been to the strip recently. We ordered Burgers, fries and Brussel sprouts TO GO. They all far exceeded our expectations. Probably the best burger we’ve had! And the service was really great…SUPER friendly and accommodating from the moment we placed our carry out order and continued until pickup. We will definitely be back!“

“This place meets the need of an easy lunch spot if you’re staying at the Lodge of the Four Seasons. We were seated quickly, had incredible service, got our food quickly and it was tasty. If you’re taking a break from the pool at the Lodge, this is a great option. Kids menu was short but exactly what we needed: Cheeseburger, Chicken Tenders. Jaylee was our server and she was attentive, even turned the fans on for us because our kids thought they looked cool. Jaylee is definitely an asset to the Lodge.

We also ate breakfast here. They were only serving the buffet, which was fine but this wasn’t communicated anywhere on the website, when we made our reservation, or at the front desk when we checked in. We were planning on ordering off the menu. A little communication on this beforehand could have gone a long way. No one can blame them for doing buffet on such a busy weekend. Just tell us ahead of time. Think of the guest experience for those who are staying at the Lodge.

Overall, I’m not sure why this place only has 3 stars. It is what it is. A convenient spot, good food, reasonable prices, and exceptional services. Manage your expectations folks“

“The sushi was so fresh and absolutely delicious! We enjoyed watching Leah create beautiful rolls just for us. The squid salad was so tender and fresh, and we couldn’t decide which we loved more…the Tokyo roll, the Tsunami roll, or the White Tiger which was almost considered dessert it was so, so good! It’s def our new sushi go-to. Very highly recommended!“

“We love coming in for lunch! The French onion grilled cheese is incredibly delicious! I also highly recommend the pink margarita! Bryan is the best GM/server at the lake... and may I say, he's looking very svelte these days (not that he told me to say that! lol)!“

“Well we went to another restaurant near Casablanca-we had our dog and was told they no longer accept pets. So as we were leaving someone eating there told us to go to Casablanca they have great pizza and you can take your dog. Well the restaurant that refused us did us the biggest favor. Casablanca has the BEST margarita, pizza bruschetta and chicken wings. And the service was superior-Chad thank you so much, we will definitely be back.“

“I would absolutely say they had the best pizza that I've ever had. I've lived around the lake my whole life. Alley Cat's Pizzeria and Pub is by far the best place to go and enjoy Good Food, Awesome Environment and Very Good Service.“
