“I recommend the fried green beans and burgers (I've had the Dam Burger, and the Hangover burger.) It's not too pricey for the portions, and the sauce cups are filled pretty full. The burgers are a little dry, but they have a nice crisp and even texture on the outside of them. The flavor of the burgers are good as well, and I recommend adding boom boom sauce on them (if you like something spicy.)“

“Baxters is one of my new spots to dine! Great people at this place! Chef Corey was amazing to talk to and the only one that knew the ingrediants/flavors/spices to my favorite steaks in the world, a Florentine Steak! I knew at that instance I was going to give this place a try. Talking to Ted ,the owner of Baxters ,about my bad experience at the restaurant next door,(JBH) and them charging us over a $120 for one plate( price was not concerning, but them hiding it until we ate the worst food in our fine dining experience was!) that included frozen lobster that could not be eaten all the way due to it being so tough from being frozen too long and not getting silverware for over 20 minutes after the dinner was served, he gave us confidence in his restaurant by personally inviting us with an open reservation of our timing and at any spontanious moment and showing me the kitchen which could not be exceeded in cleanliness or matched in appearance and professionalism. My business in serving commercial kitchens gives me the insight into many restaurants and this experience guarentees our return. Total recommendation in all they provide. Oh and lets not forget the service, top notch, there was not an empty glass or dirty dish left on our table more then 5 seconds and the timing of our courses insured a complete experience with no time to wait! “Can’t rate the buffet as we ordered off the menu but our food was cheap (chilaquiles and a pancake for our little one) and decent. Nothing to write home about but the cost for all our food was less than the cost of a buffet. Service was slow but they were busy, so we wont knock them too much. We will come back to try it again.“

Aside from the delicious food, the dining environment itself was incredibly comfortable. Despite the summer heat, the restaurant remained perfectly pleasant thanks to a series of uniquely oriented ceiling fans that kept a refreshing, cool breeze circulating over our table.
The overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful, allowing us to truly relax and savor our morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast while the warm morning sun shined gently on our faces through the large, tinted windows, which let in the perfect amount of natural light without any of the harsh glare or heat. It was a wonderful, serene dining experience that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great morning meal.“

“Wife and I came up yesterday ( Saturday) evening for dinner, sat outside at the picnic table and wish I would have got our servers name( young guy with a broken finger)… awesome guy and man the food came out quick! And great too! Place is one of our favorites!“

“If you want a typical bar and grill local restaurant, this is the place. Plenty of TVs and beer on tap, raucous patrons shouting about shuffleboard. My husband’s chicken tenders and my bacon cheddar chicken sandwich hit the spot. Delish.

“The beach chips were to die for we ordered a second one! Then we got the crab cakes which had a ton of crab and great dipping sauce. Then we got the fish and chips. I like the thinner fish strip with light breading because it made for a super crispy bite and was made better with the citrus tartar sauce.“

We ended up staying for the majority of the day. With this big of group not everyone on the lake dug in and smiled through it like your staff did.
