“We tried this place Saturday morning. Let me tell you I haven't seen service like this in a long time! Multiple waitresses checked on every table when they had coffee so it never went lower than half full. The food and prices were great. Definitely a home town Cafe feel. We will definitely be back!“
“This place! We stopped for breakfast. Hubby and I ordered eggs and bacon with a side of toast/biscuit, and cup of coffee. There was something about this place the minute I walked in. We placed our order, but before we sat down, I met Nancy, the owner. I learned the story of "A Taste of Andy." Andy is her son who died before his 7th birthday. She opened the restaurant at another location a few years later, then some years later moved to this location, just off I-44. This place feels like a touch of home, and you will experience love when you are there--in the space and in your food. Nancy makes beautiful quilts, too! THIS was a "sacred encounter."“
“We are driving from Toledo to Mesa. Stopped in after staying at the hotel across the street. Lisa, the bartender offered my mother in law and I a free beer after seeing my keycard. Ordered a few Just a Burgers and a Philly to go! Great food and Lisa was just awesome! Might stay here on the way back for a free beer and that great service again!“
“Went here for lunch & was thrilled! The flat bread pizza is delish (recommend the Downtown) & my husband's boneless wings were so good. We also split the house-made chips with ranch. We can't wait to go back and try the burgers and get the chips with the Greek seasoning! The wait staff was very attentive and the prices are good.“
“The man that runs this place is one of the nicest people I’ve ever interacted with. A perfect example of someone who takes pride in their business and appreciates their customers. They had some good cheeses and curds. Give this place your business!“
“This is a great place to stop if you're looking for a place to vacation. With the state park around the corner or a float down the river. I really enjoy the restaurant they have good home cooked meals. The staff and owners are a great group of people they deserve more than a 5 star rating if you ask me.“
“Great place to stop for gas when traveling. Well positioned off the interstate, making it easy for entering and exiting. Everything is well stocked and kept very clean, including the bathrooms. Laundry and showers are available. Restaurant and gaming machines are also on-site. Employees are welcoming. That goes a long way, given how many hours most of us have been on the road.“
“Cool local ice cream joint with a whole lot more (think burgers, sandwiches, onion rings, etc). This is a quaint little shop with friendly staff right on Route 66. We had 2 vanilla cones, Chocolate Covered Cherry Sundae, & Ozark Mountain Chocolate Sundae. The sundaes were huge and absolutely delicious. The Chocolate Covered Cherry Sundae had a hard shell of chocolate with whip cream on top & ice cream beneath with a soft cherry center that made the whole dish over the top. The Ozark Mountain Chocolate Sundae was chocolate overload that was still so good we had to eat it all! Chocolate ice cream with chocolate sprinkles, chocolate syrup, & a hot fudge center topped with whipped cream. Amazing! The price was half of what we expected and the charm of this small shop was twice what we expected. Come, visit, eat! Highly recommended.“
