“We sat out on the patio to enjoy the sunshine yesterday. The service was BEYOND amazing. Our server, Cowgirl, was a delight. The food was phenomenal. We each tried a different burger and they were both delicious. 10/10 recommend the fried mushrooms as an app as well!“

“Oh my gosh when I tell you I have had the best times here I mean it!! I always get the loaded potato waves and an oreo shake. The waves are crispy, cheesy, and make me feel a different type way. Applebee's of Rolla MO has the best server I have ever had!! Emily was so easy to get along with and prioritized not just getting food to the table, but connecting with the table. “We came into Public House Pub right at opening with a party of 10+ people, and despite a few orders coming out a little off, our waitress was incredibly attentive, kind, and helpful the entire time. She worked with management to make sure everything was taken care of and even got us some complimentary drinks because of the mix-up. We really appreciated how accommodating everyone was, especially so early in the morning with such a large group. Great customer service and hospitality goes a long way, and our waitress definitely made the experience a positive one!“

“It's Denny's if you are trying to go eat here. The Burger Den is their online ordering system. So if you're looking for a great Burger, it's still here at Denny's. I guess it's a way to pull travelers off the road to try Denny's again. It worked for us. The food here at Denny's was delicious.“

“Four of my friends and I stopped at “A Slice of Pie” for lunch on our way to Kimmswick for the Christmas Cookie Walk. I had eaten there with my daughter, about ten years ago, which is WAY too long. I used to buy their ‘Take and Bake’ Pies at Harter House, but my local store no longer carries them. They’ve always been good. Why did it take me so long to come back? I’m usually traveling with my husband and he prefers BBQ or a burger when we’re traveling. I’m glad I mentioned it Saturday, when we were looking for a place to eat lunch! We all loved it so much that we ate there again the next day, on our way home. Between us, we tried both kinds of Chicken Pot Pie (Traditional and Mushroom), the Chicken Salad on Croissant, the Tomato Soup, and the Bacon Quiche. Each entree was served with two hot rolls. I didn’t have room for the rolls, but those who did said they were good. Dessert? You may have to take it with you, but they’re packaged well. The quiche reheats well in the microwave. Those who tried it said it was the best quiche ever, and ordered it again the second day, so I took a piece home to try. I haven’t tried my Cherry Raspberry yet, but the others said the Coconut Cream (whipped cream) and Custard were wonderful. I did try one of his cinnamon/sugar pie crust cookies. They tasted just like my mama used to make. He said he’s planning to sell those at the Harter House Stores in the Springfield area, so I’ll be looking for them. He’s also bringing a truck to Harter House in Springfield on Eastgate, occasionally, so I’ll be watching their Facebook Page so I can buy a piece of pie without going to Rolla. Good pie crust makes a pie, and luckily, you can find them in the freezer case at Harter House and Price Cutter Stores. Look for “Mickey’s Pie Crust”, ready to put in the oven and bake.“

“Food was fantastic. I grew up eating maid rite sandwiches back north. It was a great as I remeber. The young guy working the seemed annoyed just being there there but I wasn't there for the service I was there for the food and it didn't disappoint.“

“The best Roadhouse-Style restaurant we have ever ate at! The rolls we perfect! The drinks were just right, the syrup and carbonation mix.. the coke was perfect! The steaks were excellent! It was nice to get a medium-rare steak that wasn't overcooked! Lastly, Zachary was awesome! Kept the drinks and rolls coming, told us about 1/2 off appetizers, and all around was on point! If you are coming through Rolla you have to stop here. We will be back anytime we pass through! Thank you from East Tennessee!“
