“Words cannot express how great the food is at Sandy Ridge. The brisket falls apart and has great flavor. My wife had chicken and it was equally delicious. The staff and chef are very friendly as well as the owners. We will definitely be making the 2 hour drive back there to eat again.”

“Just ate here and understand why this has such a higher rating than any other nearby Sonic. Ordered 2 burgers and 1 side of fries. Both burgers had subtractions and came out perfectly made. We do a lot of traveling and stop at Sonic when we can, but this is by far the best and most well-made food from any Sonic we've been to in years. Too bad it is so out of the way or we would add this to our trip route. Polite and quick service. Food hot and filling. Area clean and not run-down looking. Thanks to B who helped us.

Parking: A small number of spots so it might be full during peak eating times but the town is also small.”

Seems to be their specialty.Even though there was only a few people there in the middle of the afternoon, there was a steady stream of customers picking up at the drive-through window.The waitress was very friendly, and she knew everyone who came in by name. Had a nice small-town feel to it. She was admonishing an old man who came in for not having his cane with him, and then she doted over him like he was her favorite grandfather or something. Very nice.I took off a couple of stars for atmosphere because the place is in serious need of upgrade or sprucing up, and the tablecloths were some thick vinyl-like material that didn't want to lay flat.”

“They are some of the best wings I've ever had. Best place to stop during a road trip. Cash only, I'd recommend the wings plain; they're so good they don't even need sauce. It does take a while because everything is made from scratch, but I believe it was worth the wait.”

I am from Michigan and I’ve never wrote a review everybody from huddle house to the front desk was amazing thank you flying J for hiring such caring people I walked in after catching up on much-needed, sleep and getting 11 hours. I thought my shower door was 11 and they only have seven showers, the gentleman Joe kindly and gracefully took over, got me in the door and walked away. He was running around all over that place and still stopped when he recognized the confuse look on my face, and I definitely looked crazy. It wasn’t just Joe everyone paid attention. I will always make it a point to stop at this flying J.”

“This place is amazing. Our server was BJ and she not only served us in a timely manner she also made us feel like family. Gary was our cook and he cooked our order just as we requested. We are picky lol and he was ok with all of our modifications without any problems and with a smile singing while he cooked. BJ keeped my coffee hot and full plumb up til we left. We will for sure be coming back! Thanks you guys for making us so comfortable!”

“Several things have been wrong about this location. Recently, they are NOT open at 530am or if they are they are not answering their drive thru nor do they have lights on outside. I've been told TWICE they don't have CO2 when I ordered Sweet tea. One morning they refused to take my order from the app because their "grill wasn't level" causing them to not be about to prepare food. I've called the corporate number on the receipt only to get a voicemail.”
