“On Father's Day 2023, I stopped here for coffee after visiting the Glore Psychiatric Museum en route to Olathe. The owner (seemingly) opened for us, brewed a fresh pot of coffee for us, sold us some of the best Apple Fritters, and gifted us with a dozen donuts holes as it was father's day and I obviously was a grandfather away from my children and grandchildren. I praise this place, and hope it great success.”

So my wife and I was just at the Starbucks at cook road in st Joseph. We usually have very very little to no problems with any of the Starbucks. Today, we did the drive thru. The first gal that took our order, very nice and polite. The gal that brought our drinks to the window, not so much. Brought out the first drink, and just said somewhat rudely, “here’s your drink have a nice day..” so we informed her that we still had another drink. She proceeds to say, annoyingly, “oh I thought you got it already..” so then she brings the drinks out, no smile no nothing, and says “here’s your drink have a nice a day..” and closes the window. Mind you, I understand she could have just been having a bad day, or just did not want to be at work, but I know, from my past experiences, Starbucks has better standards than that.”

“Richard front counter person is rude my food was burnt and wanted 3 day old sandwiches back brought them and I order a mocha frappe with 3 shots of Expresso and Expresso was up and running was told I could get a refund or come back to get another and he ridley told me I couldn't have it”

The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the cheery, radiant smile of the sandwich artist. “Welcome to Subway!” she said, her voice brimming with enthusiasm. It was as if they weren’t merely employees but guardians of greatness, keepers of a sacred recipe.
As I moved down the counter, each question she asked felt profound. “Italian Herb and Cheese or 9-Grain?” My soul whispered, 9-Grain, and I saw her nod, as if she understood the weight of this decision.
I selected my fillings—turkey breast, pepper jack cheese , lettuce, tomato, onion, a drizzle of mustard—and the sandwich artist assembled my order with such finesse it felt like I was watching an artist paint their magnum opus. A modern day Michelangelo! A finishing flourish of salt and pepper? Perfection.
I sat down with my neatly wrapped treasure and unwrapped it with reverence, my anticipation building. I took one big bite, and then… it happened.
The flavor exploded in my mouth like a symphony of savory notes, crescendoing into a euphoric harmony. The bread was soft yet firm, the veggies crisp, the turkey tender. And the mustard—oh, the mustard! It tasted like it had been made by angels. After a phenomenal meal I left Subway that day not just as a customer, but as a believer.
