Traveled from trimble to this location (as we have tried el rays and was not impressed with them yuck!) THis food was soooo good. The chips were warm and the guacamole was homemade. We got the LARGE margaritas and beware they are basically a fish tank lol the taco fajita salad and enchiladas were great...maybe not authentic authentic due to lack of flavoring but for a small town it was great!
When El Agave first opened just down the street from their present location we tried them and weren't impressed at all. We gave them another try recently and were very pleased. I had the arroz con marisco (rice and seafood with a guac salad) and the chilis toreados (bullfighters chilis AKA grilled jalapeños) I could not have prepared these any better. I've had the steak and the chicken burrito Gonzales and each were very tasty! I love their guacamole too; I knew it would be good after I smelled the herbs and seasonings emitting from the container it was served in! I can't wait to try some of their other items as this place is definitely now in my very short rotation of mostly frequented restaurants!
