Steak house and saloon Reviews
Perfect place to camp while riding in the area. Full hookups! Stalls are very nice (covered) super clean bathrooms/shower house. Candi/Travis are very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend Story's Creek!
We camped here this Labor day weekend in 2024 with our horses and loved it!!
Even though they were full they let us camp primitively and it was wonderful!
We were parked close to the creek up on a hill away from others (we used a generator) which suited us fine. A 15 minute ride to town, most shops and restaurants have hitching posts, lots of access to other camps, lots of trail access and river access. We will be there even if it's with the sxs.
It’s not that I don’t recommend at all. I just believe there is room for improvements. I believe everyone should try it out and give an honest review as well.
Candi has been polite and willing to answer all my questions from the beginning. If you have questions reach out to her. She will get back with you.
After arriving and trying to figure out what to do to check in, another person in my group told me there wasn’t anyone here checking coggins or health certs. Unfortunately...read full review
Steak House and Saloon is a restaurant known for its friendly and accommodating staff. The food, particularly the steaks and green beans, has received praise from customers. While there have been some instances where the steaks were not cooked to the desired temperature, the restaurant still offers large portions of delicious food. The menu is somewhat limited, and there can be occasional shortages on certain dishes. Many guests appreciate the excellent service and find it to be a good place to enjoy dinner after activities like floating on the Jacks Fork River. Additionally, the restaurant is a perfect spot for those looking to camp while riding in the area, with full hookups and clean facilities. Despite minor issues, Steak House and Saloon remains a worthwhile dining option.
